It all started five months ago.
I was hiding inside the boys' locker room that day. Those girls are really starting to scare the heck out of me. Why did they have to chase me all the way to the locker room? I mean, seriously? They already see me everyday, isn't that enough? I understand that they only wanted to get close to me, but going as far as trying to take a picture of me naked was just insane.
"Hey, Bro, what happened? You look like shit," Hunter said, laughing while I glared at him.
"What do you think?" I hissed, slamming my locker. Hunter is my best buddy, but I'm too irritated right now. Damn. Those girls got a picture of me in my underwear! What the hell? Knowing them, they would share it with their friends and before the day even ends, everyone would have seen that cursed picture.
He laughed louder, shaking his head. "Your fans are at it again, huh? You should really be a lot more careful. What is it this time? You, naked?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Almost." I growled and glared at him before wearing my headphones. But even when the song has started playing, I could still hear him snicker in the background. That little shit.
I was about to walk away when he gripped my shoulder. Irritated, I turned to him and took my headphones off. "The hell do you want?"
"Aww, Kaley, why are you so rude to me?" He stopped invisible tears from his face dramatically. "All I want is to see you naked." Then he burst out laughing.
Asshole.
I glared at him and flashed him the finger, making him laugh harder. "Piss off, Thompson." I growled out. It wasn't the time to make fun of me. I wasn't exactly feeling good at the moment.
"Geez, don't bitch on me now. I wasn't the one who took a photo of you."
I swear to the river Styx I would pound him to pieces once I get the chance.
"Okay, okay, I'll stop. Just don't look at me like that," he put his hands up in defense, "You're scary..." he said in a low whisper so only he could hear, but I heard him anyway. Idiot.
"Tch."
We started walking to our first class, which was Physics (sadly). We were halfway there when he went and decided to open his loud mouth.
"Oh yeah, did you hear, Bro? We're having a new student today."
I ignored him and put my headphones on, blocking him out with some random Green Day song.
I could care less about the new transferee. It's not like this school rarely gets new students. It was a normal thing. Sure, this was a private school, but there were just so many scholars these days. They always find a way to get past the very expensive tuition fee.
Which was why I couldn't understand why Hunter was so eager to tell me about these stuff. It almost made me laugh, the way he ran to keep up with me, and try to get me to listen to his story.
He was such a huge gossip it made me want to cry. I don't even know how the heck he gets informed as soon as the school is.
I really don't know how and why I put up with him and his weird hobbies.
When we were already near the room, I took my headphones off, ruffling my hair with my left hand, a habit I've had since I was a child.
"You asshole, you weren't listening to me the whole time, were you?" Hunter narrowed his eyes at me, and I shrugged. "You're a shitty friend you know that?"
I smirked. "Well, I try."
He rolled his eyes. "Why am I even friends with you?"
"I could ask you the same---
