I looked up at him to see him already looking down at me. He flashed me a small friendly smile that showed his pearl whites. I took the time to really look at him. He was truly handsome. His eyes had a bit of a sparkle that sorta set me in a trance. I could stare at those eyes all day.

He tucked a piece of my hair behind my ear and licked his lips. He slowly started to lean in and.........

I leaned in as well. Just as his lips were about to touch mine, the door opened with a bang! We quickly move away from each other. I run into a stall and closed it behind me and Jason just stands there shocked. I couldn't see who opened the door but I heard them. It sounded like an old man.

"Uh sir this is a woman restroom. Men are across the hall."He says.

"Um. Oh. I know....I just..."Jason rambles trying to find an excuse. "I'm in here with my girlfriend!" He suddenly says.

"Girlfriend?" I say opening the stall door and looking at him.

"Yea babe."He smirks obviously enjoying this. "You ok now baby?" He asks but I could see that he was being serious.

"Yea. Yea I'm fine. Thanks Jason." I smile.

The old man which I'm assuming is the janitor just stares at us in confusion and awkwardness.

"Let's go babe."With that said, Jason takes my hand and walks me out the restroom and into the parking lot.

Once we got to the car he opens the door and gets in. I open my side and slip in as well.

"I don't think you want to go back to school. So what's your address I'll drop you home."Jason offers.

I gave him my address and he headed towards my house.

The ride was silent. And not the comfortable kind, the uncomfortable awkward one.

"So..." I started.

"So..."Jason said coping what I just said.

"What was that all about?"

"What was what all about?"He asked.

"At the hospital. What was that? You saying I was girlfriend."

"Oh that..."

"Yea that."

"Well you were sad and I wanted to see if you were ok. And me calling you my girlfriend was because I didn't wanted to seem like a gay guy in a woman's restroom."

"What's wrong with gay people?"

"Nothing. It's just that I don't want to be labeled as gay if I'm not. Just like if a guy gay doesn't want to be labeled as a straight man."

"Makes sense."

"Yep."

"Why are you being so nice to me?"

"You ask a lot of questions. You know that."

"Sorry."I say quietly.
