New Beggining of a New Adventure

TIME SKIP

6 Years Later

'' HEY!! STOP RIGHT THERE!!!  SOMEONE CATCH THAT THIEF!!!!" 

As I ran with the stolen food and bumped into too many people, which was to my advantage, I got to my destination and now I was panting.

''Man!! Those guys really are getting better, but I am always faster." I said with a smile

'' OK guys you can come out!! I brought food" I said

Children came out their houses and came to eat the stolen food. I took care of them they were children ages 6 to 12 years old. They were all sweet, I was ...... their big sister, I found them, actually they found me.

After passing out from hunger and exhaustion I had lost all the valuables except for my katana and my mother's ring, they fed me and cared for me so I became attached to them.

When they slept I trained with my sword, remembering how I used to spy on the general training his troops. I got better each day and knew I could defend myself against others to protect the things that I cared for since I couldn't protect them.

THE NEXT DAY

The following day I awoke to do what I did, steal food for breakfast, I had no choice, someone had to bring food to the table.

They were all still sleeping when I noticed one was missing, it was haru. I panicked because the night before he told me he would bring food to the table because he was the oldest boy out of all the kids. He was 12 with brown hair and green eyes like the forest. I ran towards the town and heard noises near a market where people were all gathering. I ran as fast as I could pushing people not caring if they recognized me.

Then what I saw filled me with rage. Haru was on the floor, bleeding to death, and nobody did anything to help him NO ONE!!!

I ran towards him and checked if he was still alive, then I heard him cough,

''Haru!!! Are you alright?!!!" I asked in tears

''Miyuki, I just wanted to... help you,.... since you always risk yourself for our sake, and you hardly eat anything that you bring to the table.... I just wanted to be useful and take responsibility ad the oldest....., but I couldn't I let everyone down, I'm sorry I couldn't .....'' he coughed

'' its OK keep your strength I'll find a doctor and you'll be ok, please just hang on'' I said sobbing

I carried him and ran to the nearest place where they would tend to his wounds, when I got there they rejected us, and said, '' beat it!! You guys are from the slums, trash like you shouldn't even be born!!!" The man screamed

We were thrown out and as I ran with the boy in my arms people screamed at us, criticized us and threw rocks, one hit me on the head, as I tried to protect haru from getting hit. I decided to go back to the slums where everyone was to at least let him rest while I stole some medicine, but I stopped in my tracks when I saw smoke coming from a familiar place. It was from the slums where everyone was....
