Skating lessons

So this is a sequel to ice skating. This has Been on my mind, so IM WRITING IT. enjoy. ❤️

" Uhh Raven?" Beast boy says, as I lace my ice skates. It has been 3 weeks since the competition and since beast boy and I became a couple. Beast boy wanted me to teach him a few things, so here we are. " Yeah beastie?" I say standing up. " Could you help me tie my skates?" He asks. I grin and start to lace his skates. After I finish, I help him onto the ice. The rink was actually pretty vacant. The only people here was a small family. Before I can really do anything I hear a small gasp. " Mama look it's Raven." A small female voice says. I turn around to see the small family. They had a daughter. She had no hair and looked very sick. I lean down and smile. " Hi." I say. " Would you mind signing her notebook for her. She watched you perform and she has cancer. She hasn't stop talking about you since." The mother says. I smile and take her notebook. Her mother hands me a pen. " What's your name princess?" I ask. " My name is Rachel." She says. I smile. " You know my birth name is Rachel." I say. " REALLY." She says. I nod as I open her notebook to the cover. On the first page, I see the newspaper clipping with me on it. I write a small message in her notebook. Rachel, never give up on your dreams. You are beautiful, don't let anybody tell you different. Love, Raven. I close her notebook and hand it back to her. Her mom pulls out her phone and snaps a quick picture of me and Rachel. She smiles and waves as she skates off of the ice with her parents. " Looks like you got a fan mama." Beastie says. " And I love her." I say. I turn back to beastie and start to skate a figure eight. When I finish, I tell beastie to skate to me. He does it quite expertly. He does a circle around me with no complications. " Beastie I thought you didn't know how to skate." I say. " Now I never said that mama. I just wanted you to teach me a few things." Beast boy says doing a twirl. I smirk. " Well played baby." I say. " Thanks. Shall we skate?" He says. I nod and we begin to skate. I skate into his arms and he lifts me above his head. He twirls in a circle, spinning me above his head. I smile as he gently sets me back down. We do a couple more flips and turns before stopping. We get off of the ice and put our regular shoes on. A poster catches our attention. Couples skating competition. It read. " Look mama, it's in three weeks." He says. I smile. Beast boy returns the smile. " So I guess we better start our routine then." I say. Beastie grins and we lace our skates back up. We practice a routine and then eventually return to the tower.
