Mays POV:

"Okay so what are we going to do?" Adrian asked me when I first got there.

"I don't know. Have you talked to him today? What happend when you had him for Algebra? Has he texted or called you?" I bombarded her with questions.

Truth is, I'm using Adrian to get to Mr. Camden. He's so hot and I don't know why he would be interested in someone as ugly and weird as Adrian.

"Um sorta, I skipped his class, and he texted me but I haven't read it yet." She answered back.

Do I feel guilty for using the girl that has been my best friend since kindergarten? Absolutely, but I don't really like her anymore.

"What do you mean sorta?" I asked wondering if she tried to hit on him.

"Well I was walking to my first period today before the first bell was close to ringing and he pulled me into his classroom and he kissed me. I ran out of his classroom right after he kissed me." She said while looking at the ground. She had something in her voice that made me question whether she was telling me the whole story or even the truth.

"Is that the truth?" I spit out before realizing what I was saying.

She sighed and looked up at me and shook her head.

"I don't know what was wrong with me but I fell under like a spell and I was kissing him back. We were making out for like 30 seconds before I realized what I was doing and ran out. I'm getting my class switched tomorrow but I don't know how to tell him I'm not going on a date with him Saturday." She said. I couldn't believe she had kissed him back. I mean I would too but her?

"Where's your phone?" I asked.

"Here." She said handing it to me.

I unlocked her phone and went to her messages and opened the text sent from Mr. Camden.

Call me.

I looked at it and looked back up at Adrian.

"It says 'Call me'" I said.
