In Love With My Teacher?!?!?

The Answer

"Sure I would love to!" I said without realizing what I was saying.

May slapped me so hard I thought she broke my arm.

"Awesome. I'll see you soon." He said before hanging up.

"What the fuck Adrian? Why would u say yes to going on a date with ur teacher. He's like 5 years older than you!!! That's illegal!" May said as I hung up the phone. I knew she was mad. I've never seen her like this before. Her face was actually turning red. I don't think she was upset that I was going on a date with me teacher, I think she was upset cuz he asked me out and not her.

"I wasn't thinking. I don't know why I agreed. What do I do?" I asked hoping my best friend will support me and give me advice but soon, I was wrong.

"That's your problem. I'm not getting in the middle of this! I'm leaving" she said getting up and walking out of my room and down the stairs out the front door as I heard the door slam and felt the house shake.

Great, not only am I going on a date with my teacher which I think May is right about being illegal but now my best friend is mad at me. And I now knew that it was definitely because she likes Me. Camden. But why?

I laid down on my bed and closes my eyes. Soon sleep took over.

I woke up later that evening to the wonderful smell of dinner.

I walked down our long hallway and went down the stairs to see my mom at the stove cooking.

"What are you cooking?" I asked walking closer and closer with each step.

"Spaghetti with sausage. It's almost done. Would you set the table for me please?" Mom replied.

"Of coarse, if it means I can get food faster cuz that smells amazing." I said truthfully.

As I was setting the table the events of just a few hours before rushed back into my mind. And I finally understood my problem for once.

I am going on a date with my teacher. And the only person that can help me, is mad at me.
