"Evangelyne!" Percedal grinned and waved at her as the wodents crawled all over us. Eva rolled her eyes and froze another hundred with an ice arrow. "When I said go, I meant it, Iop brain!" I pulled Dally out of the clearing and followed Evangelyne into the woods. She had jumped down and was now leading the way, occasionally turning around to shoot another dozen wodents. Soon, we escaped them completely and we slowed to a walk.

"Who's your new friend, Dally?" Eva called over her shoulder. "Oh! This is..." He glanced at me and asked "Do you still not remember?" I did remember, but I figured that now wasn't the time to share my strange story. "Only my name," I said slowly. "It's Brielle." "I like that," Evangelyne said, then turned to Percedal and asked "How did you find her?" He shrugged. "She was just lying on the ground unconscious with her locket wide open. It was glowing blue-ish green."

Evangelyne stopped short and stared at me. "Blue green? But that's the color of..." She reached out and touched the locket hanging around my neck, then pulled away sharply. "It's hot!" Eva cried. "How are you wearing it?"  I gripped the locket and looked away, feeling Evangelyne's eyes stare at me. She must know something about this locket, I thought. But I didn't say anything, still afraid of what they would do.

After a few uncomfortable moments, Dally shouted, "Look at how close we are! The Sadida kingdom isn't much further!" He took off, and I rushed after him. I didn't want to have to talk to Evangelyne until I could figure out what was going on.

I noticed that the trees were growing more tall and wide, and the foliage was denser and thicker. Before I knew it, were ran right into a village on the outskirts of the giant tree palace, the Tree of Life. A girl with a large white flower in her green hair ran towards us, waving and calling "Hello!" "Hi, Amalia," Eva smirked. "We came like you asked. What's the reason?" "I'm not sure. It was Yugo who called the meeting," Amalia said, but then she smiled. "It's so great to see you, Eva, Dally, and... Who's this?" "She said, pointing to me. "Brielle," Evangelyne said, and looked at me suspiciously. "Percedal found her in the middle of the outer woods with no memory of who she is or where she's from."

Amalia gave me an uncertain glance, then said "Well, we better meet up with Yugo, Ruel, and Adamai. They're waiting inside the palace for us."

As we walked towards the massive tree, I kept silent and avoided eye contact with any of the staring Sadidas. The chain of my locket felt cold around my neck, and suddenly coming to the World of Twelve wasn't so thrilling. Maybe Yugo could tell me what was going on.

We walked through the palace until we reached a secluded meeting room on a higher level. Sitting around the table were Ruel and Yugo. Everybody sat down."We're all here...except for Adamai," Amalia noticed. "Where is he, Yugo?" "He was off trying to deal with some of the green creatures," Yugo frowned. "We can't figure out how to change them back."

"'Green creatures?'" Percedal sat up straight. "We fought a hoard of evil green wodents on the way here!" Yugo nodded sadly. "They're all over the World. When they bite or scratch people, they become very weak and sick. It's like something is draining their energy and giving it to the green beasts. They've become stronger and stronger."

Ruel put his hands up and said, "Alright, that's scary and all, but you've missed an important point." He then pointed at me. "Who's this?" Everyone looked over. "I-I'm Brielle..." I stammered. "Percedal found me in the woods, and I don't remember anything... I also have this..." I gestured to the pendant around my neck.  "Can you tell me anything about this?"  Yugo studied it carefully. "I don't recognize it, but Adamai might." Evangelyne leaned over and whispered to him. I sunk down in my seat.

All of a sudden, a flash of blue and white flew in from the window and landed roughly on the ground. Adamai the blue and white dragon lay panting on the floor. "Sorry, everyone! I came as soon as I could. I got caught up with---" Adamai cut off abruptly when he saw me. "Who are you?" "My name's Brielle." Adamai turned away and held his head. "No, no... she couldn't be, that isn't possible..."

Evangelyne stared at me seriously and asked, "Brielle, who are you really?" I bit my lip, still very reluctant to tell them about myself. Yugo set a gentle hand on my shoulder. "It's alright, Brielle. Go ahead and tell us."

I took a deep breath, and told them the story of finding the locket on the ground, and feeling a connection with it when I put it on. I described how the locket opened to reveal a teal stone, which hovered and glowed, then sent me to this World. I left out the part about Wakfu being a TV show, because I knew  they'd never believe that.

"So, the locket is what brought you here?" Adamai asked. I nodded. "I don't know what else it could be." Him and Yugo exchanged looks. "When I was growing up with Grougalorogran," Adamai began, "he told me a story about the Elialocket. It had the power to teleport the wearer between worlds, much further than an Eliatrope portal could." I stared at the locket, cold and silver around my neck.

"The Elialocket," Adamai continued, "was only to be worn by one person. However, he died thousands of years ago. That person was the Blessed."

I caught my breath. "So you're saying that I'm..."

"Yes Brielle," said Yugo. "You are the Blessed, the most powerful mortal in the World of Twelve."
