Chapter 5

Today is the day i thought to myself as i got up and got ready for school. Yes today is the day that i finally have my date with Devon, the love of my life. I thought that today was going to be a really chill and great day but no ashly just had to come up to me with her new boy toy and start to insult me. I wonder if he's the only boy, he's probably not, I wonder if this was the boy ashly was cheating on while with deavon who knows. All i do know that if she and her boyfriend don't get out of my face i might punch them "get off him before i beat you" devon says coming to the rescue "oh come on now that's no way to treat your girlfriend" ashly loving says is this girl crazy or what doesn't she know what a breakup means "ashly i'm gay and i broke up with you" devon says pushing ashly and her boy toy out of the way "it's okay to play hard to get dont worry ill have you back by new year" she really thinks she can win him back in a few months wow this girl really is crazy. "are you okay? That guy didn't hurt you right?" Devon asked "yes i'm fine, and no he didn't hurt me you don't have to worry i'm a big boy i can take care of myself" i said back as i walk into my classroom "okay i'll see you tonight babe" he called to me before leaving the room leaving me speechless and blushing like crazy. Finally school is over with i swear this day just would not end it just kept dragging on and on and on "come on we have to get you ready, to the chariot" Elizabeth said while pulling me to the car "um what are you doing, i can get dressed by myself plus i was just going to wear this" i said to elizabeth while following her to my car " you can't wear that he already saw you in it, and i know you can dress yourself but you can dress yourself for a date because you've never been on one" she said while getting into my car. I just sighed and got in and started to drive to my place to let this crazy women dress me for my date like i'm some sort of doll.
"are you crazy? what am i even wearing?" "oh my god! you look so cute" Elizabeth squealed "you seriously are crazy" i looked at myself again i was in black skinny jeans and a tight black shirt it was making me crazy self conscious "no but if i don't hurry out of here i'm going to make you late even though devon is picking you up, you are so lucky i'm walking" Elizabeth exclaimed as she walked out the door. i think i might die i really hope he thinks i look good, wait does my breath smell, good it doesn't, i sat around my room and fused with my hair. i finally got a text from devon saying he was here and that he was sorry that he was late his mom was questioning him about something stupid, i texted him that it was fine and i'll be out in a second. I quickly ran out of my room and down the stairs and said a quick goodbye before rushing out the door before i got to his car he got and went to the passenger side to open the door and he looked good really good, carter sop checking him out or he'll notice he opened the door and i said a quick thank you before he closed he he quickly went back over and started the car up. "where are we going?" i asked after a while "it's a surprise" Devon responded "you're so cheesy" i laughed. after a while we finally pulled up to a nice looking restaurant. Before i even could reach the door handle Devon was there opening the door for me again. He truly was such a gentlemen. "Name please" the lady at the receptionist desk asked as we walked into the restaurant "Devon" " follow me please" she sat us down at table near the back, very private I thought to myself as we sat down. I looked around the place to capture it's beauty with chandeliers hanging everywhere and twinkling lights that looked like stars made the whole place seem magical "do you like it?" Devon asked as he watched "yes it's beautiful" I sighed out Devon just smiled the most beautiful smile I've ever seen. "What would you like to eat?" The waiter asked putting me back in reality I looked down really quickly and order the first thing on the menu and Devon ordered the same thing seeming to still be stuck on watching me.
Ashly's P.O.V
I must get him back, I have to because he's mine. How dare that little queer think he can steal my Devon away from me and make him think he's gay. I really do think it's funny how Devons playing hard to get and acting like he really is gay. It's no problem for me I'll just wait until he runs back to me and I'll greet him with open arms and then we can go crush that boy who tried to take away my puppy. It must be driving him crazy seeing me run around with another boy but it's not like I'm doing anything with him, I may make everything think I am but I would never cheat on Devon. My brother thinks I've gone crazy because I won't except except the fact that Devons gay and that he broke up with me I almost wonder if Kevin has turned into a queer himself, if he has I'm sure the family will disown him. Maybe I can show Devon that I truly still do love him and that I know he still loves me if I can just get him alone. Yes that will be perfect because while I have him distracted I can get I get someone to kill carter so he'll finally be gone out of my and Devons life forever. Who? Who would kill a gay and I wouldn't have to pay that much, it couldn't be Kevin or the kid I'm fake dating, no it has to be someone that doesn't know him and doesn't care about him, I'm not sure who yet but I'll find someone.
Carter P.O.V
After dinner Devon said he had somewhere special to take when we were in the car. After a while we came up to a peak that overlooked the whole city, it looked so pretty from up here. "Wow the city looks mph" I was stopped mid sentence by Devons lips crashing onto mine and the whole world seemed to stop because in that moment everything was perfect our lips moving in perfect sync, his lips fit perfectly to mine. Devon quickly deepened this kiss by putting his hand on the back of my head and leaning in hey man I wasn't complaining this was the best kiss of my life I mean it was my first kiss but I'm sure it would be my best. We soon let go of each other to gasp for air and before I knew it I was hyperventilating I mean I just had my first kiss what if I wasn't any good what if he doesn't want to kiss me anymore what if he doesn't love me anymore more what if "babe what's wrong?" Devon asked interrupting me mid thought "nothing except that was just my first kiss" I said quietly "wait you mean I was the first person to kiss you ever?" Devon asked startled "yes" I mumbled "This really does make me the luckiest man on earth because I was the first person to kiss the sweetest,cutest, most beautiful boy on the earth" he then kissed me again "you know what? I'm never going to stop kissing those lips ever" I just sat there blushing like a madman before he kissed me again I think that I'm the luckiest man on earth because my boyfriend is the best and says the right things at all the right times.
