The day after the big reveal Cam met me at my locker before first block.
"I'm so excited!" Can squealed.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because my best friend is coming to live with me." She replied happily.
"But I'm leaving the place I've called home since i was four and I have to get rid of all but one of my cats who I love so much I hold them in my bed and cry knowing that I have numbered days with them." I sighed, tears threatening to spill over.
"I'm sorry." She bit her lip "But its not everyday you get to live with your best friend."
"Yeah, thats the good part," I gave her a small smile.
"I have to get to class, but I'll talk to you later." She hugged me and made her way down the hallway.
I went through the school in a daze. I went home and my mother kept apologizing. I played Minecraft and got on Wattpad but neither helped.
