Another Mishap in Science

My week of suspension was spent with a heavy grounding, as you would figure. I was forced to work on homework and study, and I wasn't allowed to leave the house. So I worked on my science project. My project was to create a Vortex Gun. The idea was you shoot it in two places, and they're portals to one another. So, in theory, I could open one in my room, and aim out the window to open one outside. "You never know..." I mumbled to myself, and went on working. Once it became time to test the prototype, somethings went, well, a little bit awry. I put the gun down on my dresser to grab a pen and paper from my desk. That was when my younger brother came in. He put his drink down right next to the gun. "No, don't put that there. It might spill." He went to move it, but it ironically spilled in the process. "No!" I shouted, and dashed over to the gun, but it was too late. The thing started going haywire and shooting rapidly. "Get down!" I ordered at my brother. In a lame attempt to be a hero, I remained standing, and approached the gun to try and stop it. That was when I got shot. All of a sudden, a white light encompassed everything around me, until I was standing in a white void of nothingness. "Hello?!" I shouted, expecting that there would be no response. I waited for a moment. Nope. No response. "Why can't I just start today over?!" My voice echoed across the void. Then, the whiteness of the void abruptly faded to black. I slowly regain consciousness. Only when I do, I'm back in Mr. Dunmer's class room. "Alright class. Remember; your projects are due on the fourth" I basically leaped out of my seat. The entire class turned to look at me. I felt faint. "Um, Ms. Jepsen? Are you alright?" I shook my head. "This- this isn't right. I was suspended. Why am I here? Is it still Monday?" He looked at me like I had three heads. "Well of course it is. Do you need to see the nurse?" I shook my head again. "No, but I need to get a drink." I stormed out of the room before I had a panic attack. "The day started over?!"
