Natsu's POV:
Ughhh this food is so good! I hope lucy likes it...how long does it take to get dressed anyways... I take a glance towards Lucy's room. As soon as im half on my chair leaning to take a peek there she is. *CRASH* *SNAP* *CRUNCH*. I got so scared by her sudden appearance i feel right on my ass. "Natsu! Are you alright?!" Lucy ran right over. "Damn...I gotta stop falling for ya Luce" I grinned while my face got warm. "You idiot.. You broke my chair!" Lucy said unimpressed as she hit me upside the head. I looked at the broken pieces scattered on the floor and quickly got up hitting my head against her kitchen light that hung low on my way. Then every thing spun and went black.....
Lucy's POV:
Natsu crumbled to the ground. Limp as Jello. "NATSU!" You idiot! Why is it that you always manage to break something whether it be your bones or my furniture.... IDIOT! I proceeded to slap his face in attempt to wake him but nothing. "You owe my pyro!" I sat him up and pulled his arm around my shoulder. "How are you soo heavy?!" I huffed to myself as I staggered to my bed. I flopped him on to one side and tried to make it comfy. Fluff pillow? Check. Cover with blanket? Check. Put on left side of bed? Check. Alright now can he manage to not die while i clean up his mess and eat...probably not oh well. I follow my nose once more to the food Natsu had prepared for us. I took a good whiff. Mmmm it smells so good. I hope it tastes as good as it smells. I grabbed a huge spoonful and shoveled it into my mouth. "Holy shit! This is absolutely amazing!" I ate it all so fast I almost died. The second I was done I speedily cleaned so I could finally sleep. I walked into my room blanking on the fact I had a pyro in there. Shit. I forgot he was here where am I gonna sleep I can't very well sleep in here now can I. I guess the floor will do fine. I steal two pillows from my bed and fetch two blankets from my linen closet making a bed of sorts on my floor. I look at the clock and it's only 10:30pm but im already exhausted. I closed my eyes letting my exhaustion consume me completely.
Natsu's POV:
1 and a ½ hours later
Mmm my head hurts... I go to feel where it hurts and instantly flinched away. I let my hand fall again. When it did it felt soft. Wait where the hell am I... I felt around and underneath me felt silky smooth and it smelt so like flowers... Kinda like Luce. I opened my eye and low and behold I'm buried under a pile of Lucy's blankets. I rip the blankets off me. If I'm here where's Lucy? I frantically looked around only to find her on the floor. "What are you doing down there?" I whispered mostly to myself. I quietly got of the bed and slide over to the bathroom. Ugh these clothes are so uncomfortable. I took of everything but my boxers. There much better. Strolling silently back to the bed I stopped beside Lucy and bent down beside her. "You look so beautiful when you're asleep" I softy cooed. She smiled at something. Did she hear me? "N-natsu-u..." She croaked as she rolled around a bit tossing and turning in her sleep. I picked her up as carefully as I possibly could and cradled her in my arms. Sooo beautiful. I set her on the bed then checked the time. 12:00am on the dot. I continued on my way and laid next to Lucy. "Merry Christmas Lucy" I whisper in her ear as I kissed her shoulder. She tossed a bit more and sleepily said "M-merry Christmas Natsuuu....oh look mistletoeeee" she said in her singsong voice and started kissing the air around her. She...she's dreaming...about kissing ME?! My cheek may be bright red because they literally feel like they are burning to a crisp. All I could think to do was pull her close. So that I did. I cuddled Luce closer than ever before. Not long after, my drowsiness conquered my joy and I was sound asleep.
Lucy's POV:
3 hours later
The crashing sound of thunder woke me from my slumber. I opened one eye and moved my feet around realizing I was in my bed. But I fell asleep on the floor....maybe it was just a dream... I continued moving my feet around seeking cool spots on my silk sheets when all of a sudden...there is a hot spot. I sit up slowly and look hard at the thing next to me. It's pitch black in my room so i can only make out so much. When all of a sudden a flash of lightning lights up the whole sky and briefly my room. Oh thank god..it's just Natsu...wait why THE HELL AM I IN BED WITH NATSU... In my panic i topple to the floor... "Uughhhh" i groan in pain. I hear Natsu shift in my bed. "Lucy what are you doing on the floor again?" He asked groggily. "Um.. I fell of the bed.." I confessed. "Why are you still on the floor? It's not like I'll bite you" he chuckled. "Well I can't very well sleep in the bed with you" I complain. Obviously. "Why the hell not?" He whined. "Why not! We aren't even dating it would be weird to sleep in the same bed you idiot" I countered. "We could if I was your boyfriend?" He asked confused. "I don't see why not...." I said cautiously. All of a sudden I was being swept up and placed on my bed again. "N-natsu wha-" i tried to ask "Shhh just go back to sleep" he whispered. "B-but I can't sleep in the bed with you" I stammered. "Yes you can, you said 'i don't see why not'" he said confidently. "Ya IF YOU WERE MY BOYFRIEND! BUT YOU AREN'T" I yelled. "Why not?" He sounded hurt by my words. "Wait what? Why do you sound so sad?" I begged. "You..don't want me to be your boyfriend...?" He stopped holding me and I became cold as ice. "It's not like that you just...you have asked me or anything.." I put a hand on his shoulder. He reach for the lamp and turned it on and craddled my face in his hands. "Lucy will you do me the extraordinary favor of being my girlfriend."
