Instantly, Alexander heard his name. Darting out of his room and into the throne room, he seen a girl. Her hair flowed like the sea, and he could tell smelled like the salty ocean. He was probably going to be forced to marry her, getting Eternia more land. His father doesn't care for him. That's the only thing that he was ever going to marry for.
His father scowled at him, "Sit down boy!" He practically yelled.
Alexander did just what his father wanted "Yes father? " Alexander asked.
"Met your soon to be wife, Annabel."
Alex kissed her hand and, for once, felt something else than hatred. He'd stay that way forever, or until he memorized the feeling. Time stopped around them. Confused, he looked up at her scared.
"It's fine. " she said, her skin glistening like a goddess.
Hey backed away faster than anything. "Who are you?" He'd managed to stutter out. His skin covered in goosebumps. "What are you?"
"One of the goddesses who over seen your mortal birth.
"What do you mean 'mortal birth' and who are you?"
"You aren't a mortal really. Truly you are a god."
