"A god is only born a god, never Mortal." Alex had said, doubting his soon to be wife.
"You are not the case, Remember that god's had overseen your birth, a very, very rare thing to ever happen. And most people never even celebrate close to meeting one and you are standing with one. The very one you were ment to marry. Mortally and godly." Annabel had pointed it out on many levels that he was very rare indeed.
"Then how come I do not have any powers? And no god has came searching for me? And which pantheon do I belong in?"
"The same one as me, Atlantian.
It is the first pantheon to be made. And you were made mortal as a test. Considering how you have been able to hold yourself as a human so long without snapping and hurting someone, confirms you should be a god."
She held her hand out as a small light blue ball formed in her hand and flew to him instantly.
That light blue ball was his powers. Not all, but enough he could make his father tremble under his power. His commanding ruler. One of the many people he despised more than anything.
She could feel his strength and pain within seconds. One thing that wasn't going to be good was that he never could stick up against his father, and she knew it more than anyone. She'd followed him around. Making sure that no one hurted her love. During sword training his father would never, ever, teach him anything. Just beat him as he tried his hardest to defend himself. He was never able to return the blows he was struck. To do so would earn him lashes. Twenty per every hit he would land.
