'Sometimes she can be unpredictable, like an earthquake suddenly out of control.'
We have been here for a few days now, and I have texted and hung out with Toby almost everyday. Today we were going to the Boardwalk.
"Kayla! I'm leaving!" I stated simply. "Whatever, just be careful!" She said, watching the newest Teen Mom episode. That show is something. I didn't really care for it, but Kayla was addicted to it.
'Toby is calling, Toby is calling, Toby is calling, LEEENNNNAAAAAA, PICCCCK UPPPPP!' My phone sang. Toby recorded that as his ringtone so I would answer. What can I say, I'm a heavy sleeper. I grabbed my phone and answered. "Heyo! Lena speaking." I said. "Meet me at the tattoo parlor!" He yelled and hung up.
Oh that's great. I grabbed my skateboard and stuck in my earplugs and went to meet Toby.

"Hey Lena!" He called. "Just gonna tell you now, we aren't getting matching tattoos." I said. "Aww, I was hoping we could get unicorns with each others names on the horn." "Someone had too much sugar in their cereal today." I teased.
"So what's the plan L?" He asked. "How about Go-Karts?" I suggested. "How bout you're going down!" He said. We ran to the line, and it was long. "Tobias, I have to warn you, I am the best at Mario Kart." I said. "Wow, I'm sooo scared."
"You should be." I said.
We talked for what seemed like hours until the lady yelled at us telling us it was our turn. We gave her the tickets, and each hopped on a Go-Kart. "Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning." I joked. "She's probably single and lonely." Toby said. I laughed, and they warned us not to start until told to do so. It was tempting to knock over one of the orange cones, but I decided against it. I don't want to be kicked out of another ride. Long story short, I had 'accidently' jumped off a boring ride in the middle.
"GO!" Ms. Cranky lady called, letting the first line of karts go. I was in the second, along with Toby. "GO!" She called indicating for us to go. I took off, and the lady scrambled out of the way. I sped through the first lap, with no sight of Toby. I passed the majority of the racers, and had became 2nd place. It was a girl, she looked a little older than me, but not by much, had blue eyes and blonde hair, and thick rimmed glasses. She was really pretty and had a determined look on her face. And she felt as if this were fast and furious.
I smiled, accepting the challenge. I raced forward and smiled at her as I passed. She rolled her eyes and sped up, trying to cut me off. She got in front on the last second, and she won. I got out of my kart and went over to talk to her. "You are awesome. Good race?" I laughed. "Yeah, you didn't do too bad yourself." She said giggling.
"I'm Lena, you are?" I asked. "Alex." "That's pretty. So who are you here with?" I asked. "I was with my mom, I don't know where she is now though." She joked. "What about you Lena?" She said. "My friend Toby." I said, lingering on friend for a moment.
"Hey, you should meet him, we could all walk around together if you'd like." I suggested.
"That'd be great." She smiled.
