Part 41

The next morning everyone gathered early to began searching for one of the five hunters "there's one here, in Mystic Falls" Bonnie exclaimed after nearly an hour of narrowing down the search. "This place is well known as a vamp town and with the number of suspicious deaths here it isn't at all surprising" Devin pitched in. "How do we get him to help? It's a vampire hunter so he'll kill us on sight"

"I'll go" Bonnie said cutting Devin off. "I'm the descendant of Qetsiyah"

"No, when he finds out why"

"Kol trust me... I got this" she said focusing on getting an exact location. She changed and headed out along with the originals in case something went wrong and they couldn't be killed the others sat down to continue planning. 

Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah and Kol surrounded the campsite hiding in the trees as Bonnie approached a trailer sat deeply in the woods. A tall dark skinned man burst from the trailer gun raised but quickly lowered at the sight of Bonnie and took a knee before her "You're a Bennett witch. I'm Conner Jordan, one of your five"

"Bonnie Bennett, I'm here to help you" she nodded. "I was given this task in a dream but I don't know much, only that I needed to find one of the five" Conner motioned for her to sit and pulled up a chair at her side giving her the floor to ask any question she wanted. "I only have two questions, what is the purpose of the five and how am I supposed to help you?"

The Brotherhood of the Five

The brotherhood of the five was created to kill the very first immortal Silas and the only way for us to do that is to use the blood of a doppleganger to wake him from his calcified sleep then shove the cure down his throat; after that he'll be mortal and can die. To find the him and the cure one of us has to first complete the hunters mark which is the map and to complete the map we have to kill vampires. The Bennett witch is the one who activates the mark once it's complete to show us the way once we get to his resting place. 

"How far is your mark?" Bonnie asked watching as he shed his shirt. The tattoo started on his hand and intricately wound up to his elbow. "How do you know when it's finished?" 

"We'll just know, this place is crawling with vamps, I can sense it" he said looking around. "All you want is to kill Silas; that's it"

"It's my mission" he nodded. "It isn't safe here Bonnie, a beautiful witch such as yourself needs protecting" he smiled at her while plucking her phone from her hands and entering his number. "If you ever need anything call me" 

"I assure you I'm no ordinary witch but thank you Conner" she smiled excusing herself and leaving. The others stayed in the trees until it was safe before joining her and rushing back to the mansion to tell the others. "Great, we want the same thing but he has to kill us to get it... Fantastic" Kat rolled her eyes. "Not just that but he still has to wake Silas first, meaning he still needs a human doppleganger"

"It doesn't have to be Amara's doppleganger" Nadia cut in coming into the house. Kat had called to fill her in on what she'd missed. She'd told them of the traveler's legends of Qetsiyah, Silas and Amara "Amara is said to still be alive somewhere bound by Qetsiah's curse and that just as the spirits created a version of her that could die they created alternate versions of Silas as well though no one knows what he looked like" she shrugged. "Conner might, if he knows what Amara's doppleganger looks like then he has to know what Silas looked like too"

"No way Bon, I'm not sitting back while that asshole flirts with you again" Kol scoffed. After arguing that it was the only way to stay ahead of both Conner and Kai Bonnie texted Conner to meet her at the grill while once again the originals tagged along since but stayed out of side. After ordering they made small talk before Bonnie got to the reason they were meeting "When you said you needed a doppleganger whose did you mean Amara's or Silas'?" 

"You work fast... Eager are we"

"I feel something coming, something big then I have this dream and meet you... I'm guessing they're directly related" Bonnie countered expertly and Conner nodded. "I feel it too; my urges to kill have gotten strong, I was practically pulled here and if I was that could mean more are coming"

"The other four?"

"Maybe"

"Do you know what they look like? The dopplegangers" she nudged hoping to get more information out of him at which he pulled a book from his bag pushing it toward her. She flipped through the pages stopping at picture wide eyed. "Those are the originals, the very first vampires in existence. We've been looking for them too"

"Why?"

"Kill and original and every vampire from their bloodline will die too; one kill could complete the mark but it ain't easy" he shrugged watching as she continued flipping through the book. "That is Katarina Petrova one of Amara's dopplegangers, she's a vampire now so she's useless, I haven't found the new one yet" he said again noticing her eyes widen at the next picture. "That's Tom Avery who is currently in Atlanta, GA and is Silas' doppleganger"

"He's still human?" Bonnie asked relieved when Conner nodded. Bonnie was thankful when Conner got a call and had to leave and Kol was at her side in an instant. "Bon... Bonnie" he shook her lightly snapping her out of her trance. "It's Stefan" she whispered. "What about Stefan?" Rebekah asked with worry crossing her face. "What about Stefan!" she whispered yelled again beginning to worry. "Stefan is Silas' doppleganger"
