Eighth Day: Pen X Pencil Christmas Proposal One-Shot!

Title: Make My Christmas Merrier?

Pen's POV:
Ah, Christmas. One of my favorite times of the year. Today's Christmas Eve, and I have to finish Christmas shopping today. Heh, what can I say? The store I'm going to has the best deals on Christmas Eve. I walked out of my small apartment and got into my car. Soon, I won't be needing that apartment. I drove down the road and eventually reached Object Mall. I parked the car, got out of it, then walked to the mall. Once I got inside, I walked around, looking for the store I needed to go to. After a bunch of searching, I finally found the store.

Mood Ring's Jewelry Store.

I stepped inside, staring at all of the necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and most important, rings in the store. There were hundreds of pieces of jewelry in here! I looked around and saw a short girl behind the counter with rainbow-colored hair. She looked at me and smiled.

"Hi there! The name's Mood Ring! Need help finding anything?" she asked.

"Hello! I need a ring actually... I'm proposing to my girlfriend tomorrow," I told her.

"Ah, an engagement ring? No worries, I'll find the perfect one!" she said happily. I noticed that she was wearing not only a mood ring, but a mood bracelet, a mood necklace, and a set of mood earrings. They all turned a light blue color.

"Wow, there sure is a lot of jewelry here," I said out loud.

"Yep! Plenty of stuff here! It's a wonderful place to work at, especially for someone who's a jewelry enthusiast like me!" she said excitedly, all of her jewelry turning purple. She walked away from the counter to go find a few rings. "Now then, where are the engagement rings...?" she asked. She looked around. A confused look showed on her face.

"Everything okay?" I asked.

"I could've sworn the new engagement rings were right here...!" she muttered quietly to herself, sounding confused as her jewelry turned brown.

"Is everything alright?" I asked again, a bit worried.

"Oh!" she exclaimed, hearing me the second time. "I'm sorry! It might take a little while. I'll find them soon enough!" she told me, the jewelry turning orange as a worried look showed on her face.

"It's alright, no rush," I told her.

"TC!" she then shouted towards a door in the back of the store.

"Yes?" I heard a male voice answer. A tall guy came out from the room. He had dark gray, curly hair.

"TC, where are the new engagement rings?" Mood Ring asked.

"Crap, I knew I was forgetting to do something! They're in the box on the top shelf in the storage room," he answered.

"Okay, I'll go get them," she said, walking towards the storage room. "Be right back!" She then went in the storage room.

"So, you're proposing to your girlfriend I assume?" the guy who Mood Ring called TC asked.

"Yep, I'm proposing to her tomorrow!" I answered. He smiled.

"By the way, I'm Thunder Cloud. But TC's fine. Mood Ring, she's my fiancé, I proposed to her last week. Funny story actually. I wa-" TC began to say when Mood Ring came back and interrupted him.

"TC? I just realized I can't reach the top shelf... Heh, I forgot," she said, her jewelry turning pink with an embarrassed look on her face.

"Aw, I'll get it Moody," TC replied, walking towards the storage room.
