Clemence's POV
The four of us was just staring at the girl who introduced herself as Starlight Greene.
"What are you doing here?"
"I'm here to find Team 006. Is this Team 006?" Starlight said.
"Yeah. This is Team 006. We can't just accept members. There is a specific protocol. You can't just do it on your own free will." Pepper said.
"No. I was chosen. Look, here's what I've got in my bag." Starlight said.
Starlight fumbled on her bag and took something from it. It was a small badge, it had a shape of a silver police badge. Engraved on it was the symbol of Haven Academy, two flags with H and A on it and the words; Haven and Academy were printed on capital letters and colored black.
At the back of the badge, there was a note engraved on it, saying: 'Permission for access to be a member of Team 006.'
"Really? Where'd you get that?"
"She got it from the principal, there's no joke in here." Pepper took the badge and examined it back and front.
"We have no choice but to grant the principal's wish. Starlight Greene, welcome to Team 006." Grant said.
We smiled and welcomed Starlight. It was good, at least Pepper has someone to talk to. With all the boys here, maybe we could use some girl company for Pepper.
"Code 020 Complete. John Pyro and Starlight Greene, recruited for Team 006." Grant said on his walkie-talkie.
Then, suddenly we heard static noises and a female voice said: "Congratulations for successfully having five members in Team 006."
We are officially a team now, we're good to go.
"Pepper Park, Grant Ward, Clemence Crest, John Pyro and Starlight Greene. You may now proceed to the Training Area."
"What's a Training Area?" John said.
"Well, you'll see." Pepper smiled at us.
We went down a series of hallways, looking at other students around us. The hallways were amazing, every room is like a large dungeon where students train their fighting skills. On my right, I saw someone, particularly a boy who was climbing the walls and jumped down to attack the other girl but the girl dodged like it was nothing.
"This is so cool, can we learn how to climb like the boy over there?" I pointed at the guy who was climbing walls.
"It depends on what you are capable of." Grant said.
Then, on the left side, the dungeon was full of water and a girl was meditating, sitting on the floor.
"Isn't she dying? What the heck is she doing? Suicide?" Starlight said.
"No. She's not dying." Pepper said.
We were weirded out by what Pepper said. After a few minutes of walking, we stopped at a room, more like a dungeon, where the walls were glowing white and the whole place was surrounded by equipment used for training. On one side, there are these huge blocks of metal that were just lying around and on another, there are targets that were shaped as a human and targets on their chest. Maybe, it's for archery and throwing knives and stuff.
"Okay, everyone. Gather up. And I want you to listen closely." Grant said.
John, Starlight and I were sitting on the ground. We were listening to what Grant was saying.
