"Clemence, are you alright? You look pale..." Cleyria said.
"I'm fine, sis. It's just, our parents think that I'm an outsider."
"Is that the reason you've only been sulking all day?" Cleyria scoffed.
"Sulking? Why don't you consult the mirror? Our parents didn't expect to have twins. They FAVORED you because you are beautiful, smart and everything and I'm not."
Clemence got angry all of a sudden, he banged his fist on a table and got his hand bleeding. The table almost cracked because of what happened.
Cleyria cowered in fear. She tried to cover herself in blankets as much as she could cover her whole body.
For once, Cleyria saw the OTHER side of Clemence. The side that has been seeking for revenge. Hatred and slaughter polluting his mind.
It was like seeking for his archenemy. The one who needs to be killed.
"Clemence! Stop! You're ruining yourself. Don't let that side consume you! I want the Clemence Crest back I used to know. How could you? You've changed a lot." Cleyria shakily said.
"From now on, we are enemies. Rivals, REMEMBER that Cleyria Crest. I'll prove to you that I can be the best son they ever had. Then, once they come back to their senses, they will know me as their SON. They will treat me like a royal prince, and they will cast you, Cleyria Crest, out of their lives."
"Is that what you've been planning all along?" Cleyria asked.
Cleyria can't believe what Clemence Crest said. After all they've spent through this years since childhood. She can't believe that deep inside, Clemence hated Cleyria?
"Yes. I will prove to you that my plan will succeed. After all those years, I was terrified like a snail that didn't want to get out of his shell. But now, once my plan is done, I will rule over this hell world and it's citizens will treat me like a king!"
"Are you planning to hurt Mom and Dad too?" Cleyria couldn't bear Clemence's pain anymore.
It was just as scary that she couldn't hold herself anymore. It was just like a prey wanting to be caught by the predator and that predator was...
"Yes, even they are my parents. I will break their bones and drink their blood if I have too."
Clemence: The Hidden Beast
"You're going crazy. Clemence..." Cleyria said crying. What have she done to make his little brother go mentally crazy?
"I'm not crazy. We're twins. We have the same fate. You will realize what I've felt for the past few years. You will know what I've been longing for. Join me and together, we'll turn this world upside down."
"You're mentally possessed! I can't take this sick game of yours. Please, I will do anything for you. Just get back to your senses. Anything." Cleyria said, wiping her tears.
"Join me. We'll take this world by storm. No mercy, we'll change together. Change the future. No one will challenge you. They will call you Queen Cleyria and they will call me, King Clemence. How about that?" Clemence said raising his tone, extending his hand.
"I will do anything but not that. Can't you see I'm making effort to make you change, Clemence?" Cleyria said.
"No. All this time, you've been giving me pain in the back. So now, let's try---."
Cleyria slapped him. Clemence must be thinking right now...My sister betrayed me?
Cleyria stood up and said in a firm voice: "You will regret this, Clemence Crest. Once your plan fails, never come back to me. Also, I've been planning it all along...that my twin brother will go crazy."
"You planned...all of...this?" Clemence said.
Cleyria took her bag and left the room. Clemence sat down on his bed and messed his hair because he was frustrated about what his sister said.
