I woke up today and was greeted by Miranda. I could not wait because I will meet my track buddy today. Miranda tacked me up and took me out to the track. There was this pretty little red mare. Gwen was standing there holding her. I was so exited, but hear comes Jacob . Luke gave Jacob a leg up and sent us to the track. Today Luke told us that w were going to do 5 furlongs each by ourselves then 5 furlong together and see how we do.
I was took to the track first.
Jacob let me go and I took off, Jacob could not stop me. I was going to put a fast pace for Lady Red to try to outrun. I flew past Luke and he shouted that I just broke the record.
54.13 two seconds faster than Boston Brat from 2003. I was sweating really bad and I tried to hold it back so Lady Red would not see me. I was untracked by Miranda and now it was Ladies turn.
Gwen was given a leg up onto Lady Red and took out to the track. Lady look off and was so graceful she ran each stride with pride. She ran past Luke and her time was 56.47 she was fast but not as fast as me.
We were untacked and showered off. When we were done we went to the pasture too cool off. We were going to see what we would do together.
