This story was inspired by two things, Second Chance by Shinedown and the image that I’ve used at the cover. I am making effort not to read anything that is similar in any way possible, so its not possible for me to unknowingly steal ideas. Any problems, queries and comments with the above issues, please let me know.

I am only thirteen and am not the best with spelling and grammar. I also do not have a editor at the moment because I am unable to find a suitable one. Therefore my updates are generally slower as well.

I will rate each chapter at 13+ and no less, if I feel the chapter is above that rating I will change it. Also if there is some material that needs to be age appropriate, I will strongly mention it at the top of each post. Vulgar language and content will be visible in most of my chapters. If you are easily offended or affected, please skip the chapter or conclude reading my story. I don’t want any reports etr. If you are enjoying my story, please send me a privet message and I will try and send you a edited chapter whenever possible.

I will only post my full copyright on this chapter, reason being I always try to write at least three pages on word and my full copyright uses up about half a page so it’s less for me to write. I will only put ‘©NadineSanchez’.

Darcy Mc Culloch, has dreamed of being a dancer since she could walk. She has the potential to. Then when family realised she could sing and wasn’t a bad actor, they all tried to help her become talented in Music, Dance and Acting. But it wasn’t easy.

With an abusive father, who didn’t want her to grow up and leave him, they had to work around it. But as the years went by, those supposedly supportive family couldn’t be bothered to put in the effort and slowly drifted out of the picture leave Darcy and her mother to deal with him.

Secretly Darcy’s mother sends off a application to Britt’s school. Luck strikes as Darcy is accepted on a scholarship. Sending Darcy off to a better life.

But in real life nothing ever goes smoothly. So will Darcy achieve her goals? Or will her problems be too much? Can she move on? Or will she be forever in the past? Can she trust and love again? Or is her heart forever locked away?
