I'm more shocked than anything. How in the world did Mya meet them? Like I know she's poppin' but not like that. "I know, I met him at Club Royal last night. Now relax and get out there and be you. It's only for one night and you don't want a boyfriend anyway," she applies more lipgloss and stares at me. I shake my head, still processing that my best friend knows two of the most hottest celebrities right now. "Look I'm about to go, I don't need a celebrity walkin' out on me . C'mon you got this , I promise." She grabs my hand and leads me back to the table . I sit by Chris and he scoots over closer to me, leaving hardly any space between us. I take deep breathes trying to relax myself. Here I am in the upscale restaurant sitting next to Chris Brown. "I know this is weird but honestly I'm just helping my nigga out. But you , you're worth it," he leans into me and touches my hair. I roll my eyes and take a sip of water, what a way to introduce yourself. "I don't go out with people I don't know anyway," I look at my menu and decide on what to order. "Cool , well I'm Chris Brown." I meet his eyes and smile, "I know, I'm Tinashe. It's nice to finally meet you I use to be a huge fan," I play with the folded napkin on the table to distract myself from his face. Flashes erupt throughout the building and people are even trying to look in through the windows. "Use to be? Baby you still are , " he touches my thigh and I move his hand quickly. Is he serious? I'm not the type to fall for you on the first night. "Look, let's make it through this okay? Don't get all horny and shit ," I look over at Mya who is playing with her hair while Tyga is ordering her a drink . " Damn my bad Babygirl , you just sexy that's all. Can I compliment you?" The waiter comes back breaking our little chit chat and I order the chicken parmesan. Everything here is expensive and I was shocked to see Chris order form the twenty dollar menu. " So, you live out here or is this a trip? " He looked me in my eyes while he spoke to me. "I live out here with my best friend Mya, we work at a hair salon." "Nice, do you like it ?" He sips his drink and rests his arm on top of the booth chair. "Yea it's pretty chill, I don't do hair like Mya. I'm a receptionist. The salon is really cool though we're family in there." He nodded his head. He wasn't really talking about himself like I thought he would. In fact , he hasn't shared one fact about himself in the past ten minutes. "What about you? What do you do every night?" He looked at me again and my chest fluttered. "Well I make club appearances and interviews. I'm also here to visit my daughter, Royalty." I nod and we eat our food , sharing facts about each other. The tension in the air is gone and I find myself laughing into Chris's arm and chest. He didn't stop me from leaning in to him , he actually seemed like he liked it. We paid the bill and left a tip and walked out with our to-go boxes. "Well it was nice meeting you again, I guess I'll see you on TV?" I find myself shaking in the cold air. Chris hands me his jacket and I wrap it around me , it smells amazing. "Not exactly ," he smiled.
