Zaphera (pronounced Zah-fear-rah) was born with a gift to understand dragons and knows all their secrets, she can figure of what's wrong just by touching them. She can calm them and enchant them with her voice.
But all this comes with a price.
Zaphera is gravely sick. Don't get me wrong, she is strong, but her body is weak and all the dragons can senses it.
The scent of death. She is told that she will not make it through her eighteenth winter. And because of this, she has no one who wishes the marry her. She is lonely in the world, for she also has no dragon for her to love eather.
Anywho, so one day Hiccup gets a threat note saying that he has to hand over his daughter to Kearian Draken. Or else.
Hiccup, not knowing what to do, tells his daughter.
Zaphera agrees to go.
(Ok so I'm not going to go into big detail here. But I hope you get the meaning.)
So Zaphera get to the island where Kearian lives. Kearian does not know of Zaphera's illness.
Soon or later she ends up falling for him, but knows she can't because she's dying.
She finds a Night fury egg. Meanwhile, Kearian finds out he loves Zaphera.
Then he finds out that shes dying.

Personality: shy, funny, sarcastic, protective over dragons/ children, caring, kind, loud, strong in spirit, but weak in body, smart, sometimes forgetful, creative imagination, spaces out a lot.
Name: Kearian
Age: 22
Hair: Black
Eyes: Dark green with blue and bits of gold
Skin: tanned; scar on back, from right shoulder to left hip
Personality: scary, silent, brooding, possessive, protective, demanding, cocky, confident, later on is compassionate, and a bit romantic.
