Louisanas point of view:
I stared at the window for what felt like hours. I couldn't stop replaying the events over and over in my head. I then herd the back door swung open reveling my mom, dad, and Tia in a very unhappy mood.
"Your an idiot" scream my father as he picked up Caleb and Kylee and heavily stooped towards their room.
I was left in shock. My dad always was so nice to my mom in her most stubbornest moments. He never called her names.
My mom sighed and walked towards me.
"How was the kids" she said happily. My mom always put on fake smiles and pretended to be in good spirits. She always told me that I could have my own pity party later but never have people pity you. Of course I wasn't like that.
"Angles but what's going on" I ask
Aunt Jillian placed a hand on her shoulder and gave her sad eyes "I'll talk to her. Go pack"
My mom nodded and gave me a kiss on my forehead
"Hey sweet heart" says aunt Jillian sitting on the couch patting a seat next to her.
"Don't worry about your mother she's just going on a trip for work" I knew she meant my mom was going back to California on the boat "dads just nerves to be himself with all three of you"
"Oh" was all I could say. I felt like something was missing though. They were keeping something from me.
"Now how about you go say bye to your mother and head off to bed"
I walked down the winding halls and saw mom in her room. She a king size bed that took up a quarter of the gray wall. The walls were covered with pictures of me, my moms friends, and her wedding photos. On top of her white blankets laid the stupid turtle.
"You know turtle soup wouldn't be to bad" I laughed as I leaned against the threshold
"Louisana Ferreira Silva bite your tongue. You sound like your father" she said with anger in tone. She loved that turtle more than any of us.
"Sorry" I said with not sorrow in my voice " so where you going this time"
"Off the coast of shark bay. There's blah blah blah blah blah" I started not to pay attention. I mean like no one cared. She mostly spent her time in the labs but according to dad the last time she was in the boat was when I was 3.
"So you won't need to watch Louisana" she concluded
"You taking the stupid turtle" I asked still not interested
"Yes if you cared to pay attention you would have heard that I'm taking her with me"
" okay love you. See you in 3 months?"
"Love you too sweetheart" she gave me a kiss on my forehead with a sigh and I walked off to my room.
I stared at my phone as I already had 20 messages from Drew and Sierra. I dialed Drews number knowing Sierra was with her.
"OMG" they screamed in unison, kinda creepy.
"Wow no hey, hi, long time no see" I laughed
"Shut up. Are you seriously dating Nayden" said Drew
"Yeah, but wait how did you guy find out it was literally like 30 minutes ago" I asked
I heard shuffling as Drew passed the phone to Sierra " I herd from Beth , Kaitylin best friend, who herd from Kaitylin, who herd from Natalie, lylas cousin, who herd from lyla, Alex's ex, who herd from Stephanie, Lylas kinda friend and Alex's girlfriend, who herd from Alex, who herd from Nayden"
"Damn. Word travels" I laughed.
Drew laughed as she got the phone back
"Here in putting you on speaker now no detail is useless" I could hear the wink drew was giving me. I rolled me eyes and began the story.
I told them from how I could have sworn he was a robber to him asking me out and empathized on how nothing happened between us. I got many awes and how cute and so sweet.
"Way to go Louisana" shouted Sierra.
" looks like we get to double date now" said sierra "plus turd wheel" added drew
"Wait what" I asked someone asked sierra out
"Oh well" I could imagine sierra blushing hard.
"So when we herd that nayden and you were dating from kaitlyn she told us Brian was gonna ask out sierra cause like we talked for hours and you know they are cousins in all" interrupted drew
" when" I screamed
"Around next week or so" said sierra
"Omg omg omg. I'm so happy for you I can't wait omg" I screamed
"Louisana just put the kids down get off the phone" screamed my dad
"Hey text me" I whispered into the phone
Now that day I would fall asleep I couldn't stop smiling. Everything seemed perfect.
