The Never Ending Fight...

Counicl meeting

"The counsel has come to a agreement EXILE" as I said the words in front of the room full of the towns people the only face that caught my eyes was the professors. He dropped his head in shame and wiped the tears from his eyes. I shook my head and stepped down from stage and walked into the back room. After putting my papers away and hanging up my coat I strapped my gun to my side and slid my knife into my boot and walked outside. Most of the towns people still had questions they knew there was a monster on the loss a few animals and cattle had gone missing In the middle of the night. After reassuring them it would be taken care of and it's head would be laid out on a stake in front of the town gates they went home holding there children close to them and keeping a sharp eye out. As I walked out into the middle of the dirt street move meant caught my eye in the ally way the shadow on the wall was a demons head I grabbed my gun but before I could aim it was gone. Dammit this one is faster then the others I thought as I heard familiar foot steps behind me.

"Kyle" I snapped without turning around I put my gun back in its holster and started walking away. When he ran to catch up to me I growled low in my throat and started to walk faster. "I heard you need my help sweetheart can I be of service to you?" He all but chuckled as he said it and walked at a steady pace behind me. I turned back around and got right in his face "oh yea like how you helped me out when I came back to town and you shut me out and shacked up with star" I snapped at him and pushed him to the ground. He looked startled and after I moment anger crossed his face then nothing but remorse. " you were infected and I needed someone alive in more way then one" he said but after he said he regretted it my fist hit him square in the jaw and I walked away not saying another word. When he didn't fallow I knew it was for the best he may be the second best shot In town but I wasn't going to deal with his talk about why I wouldn't love him the way he wanted me to. We were having ups and down sense high school and when my father died I shut everyone out. The week before I was attacked we got into a huge fight and he broke it off before I left for supply's. I didn't need to worry about a monster on the loose and his ass trying to recoil what he fucked up months ago. I tossed the thoughts of his aside and went back to the ally way I saw the demon at.

As I got close to the ally the stench of death hit me I gagged and covered my nose with my sleeve. On closer inspection I saw why there was a smaller demon laying there in a puddle of blood surprised and a little confused of how a demon got passed my walls with out notice I used a peace of wood close to a dumpster and tossed it in the trash I'd have my deputy take care of it later. Looking around for clues the only thing I could find was dried blood I must have wounded the pet when I let off a few shots. Frowning I stopped looking and felt eyes on me unable to figure out from where I steeped back out into the street and knew I wasn't safe this pet was pissed and I for once was the one being hunted. Maybe I would need Kyles help after all...

(Sorry it's not long I've been super busy hope u guys can forgive me I will be rewriting and editing the small chapters when I can to make them longer please vote and leave some ideas for me guys XD)
