Regina decided to start an annual Christmas Day Festival. The Storybrooke Christmas Day Festival, it was called. Henry thought of the idea and Regina thought it was a great ideas, and the town needed all the joy they could get.
The security moved the crowd in front of the stage. Regina came out and stood up at the podium. She wasn't really nervous talking to a large crowd. She was dressed in a tight red velvet dress that was cut off at mid-thigh, unfortunately the weather decided not to cooperate and it was warm out. The dress had some fluffy white trim (like a Santa hat), on the neckline, end of the arms, and the thigh. Roland made her wear a clip-on mini Santa hat, Robin thought it was cute.
"Hello Storybrooke. Although the weather seemed to still think this place was hell on Earth, we will have a merry Christmas." The crowd cheered. "My wonderful son, Henry thought of the idea of this festival, so thank him for this." Some people chanted Henry and patted him on the back. Regina smiled. "So don't let the warm weather bother you and have a great time worth your families and those who you love and have a very merry Christmas!" She said and smiled before getting off the podium.
Robin then took a microphone. "Uh...Regina, dear, wait just a moment." Robin said into the microphone and she stopped in her tracks. She was confused.
The Charmings, Henry, Roland, and Killian all knew what was about to happen. Snow could barely contain herself. "What is it, Robin?" She said, nervously looking into the crowd.
"I just need to announce this..." He said and his breaths were shaky. Regina was still very confused. "Regina, I first I heard about you was back in the Enchanted Forest, you were seen as evil and twisted, but I thought maybe just misunderstood. Then we really met each other, you saved Roland from a crazy monkey beast thing and you turned it into a toy. Then I looked into those big brown eyes for the first time, I fell for you. In that moment I did."
"You seemed a little bit not-so-into-me." Regina blushed, "Then the curse came. I saw you again and I instantly felt a connection. You showed me that the man with the lion tattoo was your soulmate." He showed off his tattoo, "I fell for you again, and I would a million times over, just to have the butterflies again. You kissed me in the forest after I lost your heart, literally." She chuckled.
"It would take me awhile to explain our love for each other so, Regina...will you make me the happiest man to set foot in this land and take my hand in marriage?" He got down on one knee and pulled out the ring, the crowd roared. Snow was in tears, Roland jumping around, and Henry had a smile he couldn't wipe off.
Regina could barely breath. She looked at the crowd and all there was were smiles, she looked to seek comfort from his blue eyes and found it. She nodded her head and mumbled yes. "Yes!" She said nervously into the microphone. The crowd cheered again.
"Yes?" He skated and she crashed into him, kissing him passionately. "I love you."
"I love you, my thief." She kissed him again and they broke, but still in an embrace and he slid the ring on.
He scooped her up off the ground and took her off stage.
...
Henry was walking around with his popcorn drizzled with chocolate. He also had a bunch of mini candy canes. He was still thinking of Violet, he missed her, at least he got to kiss her, but still really missed her. Regina walked up to him and stole some of his popcorn.
"Hey!" He said.
"Wow this is good." She noticed that he looked a little low. "What's wrong Henry?"
"Nothing." He mumbled. He turned his face.
"Henry, honey, what's wrong? I know there's something." She looked at him with comforting eyes.
"I just miss Violet."
"I'm so sorry Henry." She pulled him into a hug.
Then out of the the corner of her she saw someone. This girl, about Henry's age was staring at him. She smiled. "How about her?"
"Mom...that's Grace."
"No it's...it is Grace, my she has grown." She looked over at Grace who was next to...Jefferson. Oh crap, Jefferson. "She seems to be staring, maybe she likes you."
"Mom." He said blushing.
"Go over there and charm her." She encouraged. "Just be yourself."
He walked gave her the popcorn and walked over nervously. Jefferson watched Henry walk over to his Grace. He saw where Henry came from, Regina.
Regina started eating the popcorn. "Hello madam mayor." He said behind her and snatched some popcorn.
"Jefferson."
"You sent over your son to flirt with my daughter?"
"Jefferson I can explain-"
"Regina you're not in trouble." He said and he pulled her into a friendly hug.
"What was that for?" She asked softly.
"Congrats, on getting engaged, must be nice to be in love."
She knew the feeling all to well, seeing people fall in love doing you while you sit there wondering when your true love will come.
She braced his arms. "Jefferson." She sighed. "You'll find someone. You're a handsome guy, who is a great father, and who has a great daughter, what more could woman want?"
He chuckled. "You really have changed."
"You have to."
...
David and Snow were walking hand and hand. David had eaten some many candy canes he could blow a button. Snow had Neal in a pouch in the front of her.
