Peppermint took Comet with him to find the gift. They started my going back the way they came. Peppermint took Cocoa's map and he used it to track down where the wind storm was. Turns out, the wind storm was gone. Comet and Peppermint flew to where they thought they lost the gift.
They reached to open fields and they flew across the land to try and see the gift. They saw a blue spot. But when they flew down, it turned out it was just a pond. They saw a red spot. It turned out that was just a hat. They saw a green spot. It was a bush. They couldn't find it!!
After searching for a half an hour, they figured they should just give the boy something else. But they didn't want to ruin the boy's dreams and beliefs of Santa.
They started flying back to the boy's house and looked out to try and find it. When they were almost there, they saw a little helicopter on the boy's yard!!
They flew down, and we're really surprised. How could this gift could have gotten here?
