Coral stayed at mine that night and in the morning we went shopping for better clothes for me.
We caught the X46 into town and then went straight to Coral's favourite boutique named "Hooch". She said it was where the "It Girls" shop so here we were picking our wall through the biggest shop I'd ever been in. We grabbed a basket each and went raking through the racks.
I found a black pencil skirt, a low cut tight vest, high waisted denim shorts and a blue flowery cocktail dress. Coral found a denim mini skirt, tight black skinny jeans and a little black dress.
We headed over to the changing rooms and i went into a cubicle while Coral waited infront of the curtain.
The first thing i tried was my black pencil skirt and my white top. The top increased the my cleavage display and the skirt increased the size of my legs. I looked quite alright!
I opened the curtain and Coral's jaw almost dropped to the ground.
"That outfit was made for you, Charlie" She said, gawping. I just winked and headed back into my cubicle.
The rest of the things i tried on made me look way better (except the blue cocktail dress!) and more sophisticated. I bought the lot but shoved the blue dress on the rejection rack.
Next we headed up in the elivator to floor 2, A.K.A shoe paradise! We split up again to find different shoes.
I found a pair of 2 inch black heels, gold gladiator sandals and a pair of purple high-top converse all-star. Coral produced a pair of gold dolly shoes, 4 inch black peep-toe wedges and a pair of black suede flat boots.
She insisted i bought them all and because i was following her lead i did so.
That shopping trip cost me $780! Thats about 2 years worth of allowances, luckily i had explained to my mom and she had said "Its your decision" which basically meant "Do what you want".
That was the begining of the chique new me!
