6:30 AM
My alarm clock went off, telling me it was 6:30. Also known as when Ma makes me wake up every morning for school. I sat up in bed and snoozed my alarm, wondering what shit life would throw at me today. I grabbed my hairbrush off the floor next to my bed and stood up and walked to my mirror. I started brushing my purple hair (Ma completely lost her shit when I came home with it) while I walked.
By the time I had stepped around most of the shit on my floor and made it to my mirror, I had already finished brushing my hair, so I put the brush down on the table next to me and checked to see if all of my piercings were still in (Ma lost her shit even harder the day I came home with these). Septum ring? Check. Nostrils? Check and check. Chin? Triple check. Eyebrow? Check and check. Nose bridge thing? Check and che- What the fuck? Why are their weird orange zigzags around my eye?
I blinked to see if I was just seeing things, but when I looked again, the marks were still there.
"Ma!" I called out.
"Yes Luke?"
"Why the hell do I have orange zigzags around my eye?"
"What?"
"I said 'Why the hell do I have orange zigzags around my eye?'."
"Come show me." Hmm. She's taking it better than I thought she would so far.
When I got down to the kitchen, Ma freaked. "What the hell is around your eye?"
"That's what I'd like to know."
She tried cleaning it off with a washcloth, but that didn't make a difference.
"I'm just gonna take you to Dr. Meyer to get this checked out since he takes walk-ins. No school. Go get ready, so we can go in a minute. I'm gonna drop you off there so I can get to work on time," Ma said, grabbing her phone, most likely to call the school to tell them I won't be here.
"Alright." Well, looks like I'm not going to school. I walked back to my room and got dressed in an orange tank top, jeans, black leather boots, and my black leather jacket with purple spikes. I wonder what this shit is.
After my mom got off the phone, we drove to Dr. Meyers' office. It was only a five minute drive, and in was silent.
When we got there, I got out of the car, and she drove away.
I walked into Dr. Meyers' office, and the receptionist asked me "Dr. Meyers' isn't here yet. Can you sit down in the waiting room, please?," gesturing to the area with a few chairs and couches, a coffee table, a coffee maker, and a stack of books.
I sat down on one of the couches and pulled out my phone. I started playing Geometry Dash and waiting for Dr. Meyers to show up.
