Hahahaha forgot I have to update stuff, whoops.

Dan

The smile was what pushed it further. Phil acted as if he had no idea what Dan had asked. Phil had a moment of silence, which seemed to be filled with recollection. The memory didn't seem to be all that good, which is what drove Dan crazy. The attachment he had formed to a boy hardly knew the name of was ridiculous and sounded like it was part of a fairy tale. He brushed it off, but only after forcing himself to dwell on it in the later hours of the night. School was out for the day much to his relief, and while even though Dan was excited to be free he had a sense of uneasiness. It was as if everything was okay except for one thing. Like if he had done a little more fixing that everything would be perfect right now. It upset him to say the least.

It was the later hours of the night, and questions were barricading him into his own head, shielding him from interaction with his family, even if what they had to say was 'important.' He walked into his room, muttering something to his parents about getting to sleep early. He didn't do that, and immediately opened his window and climbed onto his roof, debating whether or not it was worth the physical activity to dwell on his troubles. He decided to just sit and stare at the stars. Maybe someone who shared his problems was out there looking at these very same stars. Even if Dan hated to call something a God, he considered the stars to be a being. It was referred to by Dan himself as Mr. Universe. It seemed to suit the cold yet welcoming atmosphere of space and the stars.

Phil

Phil was in a normal pattern of do what you are told. It was an awful rinse and repeat cycle. For once in his life, he craved adrenaline and risk. Working was creating something stable for him, but he wasn't sure he wanted stable. Something about things that wavered appealed to him. He was always teased and picked on for being intellectual and knowing every answer. He didn't really have friends, but he didn't think he needed such things. People are selfish. Call him cynical, but he knew you couldn't avoid the truth.

Something had him so incredibly out of it lately. Normally, he'd be bubbly and excited to do whatever he had the will to do. But he had no will and thus, nothing to do. He thought about the charming and caring (kinda caring at least) boy named Dan he'd talked to earlier. He seemed sweet, no wonder Phil would ruin that in a heartbeat. He hoped he hadn't ruined it, but with how he acted earlier he just knew he'd done something wrong.

He was walking home and it was late at night, the jet-black atmosphere of the night surrounding him and his bright eyes. He walked past a quaint house and heard windows opening, but he figured it was some rebellious kid that was trying to prove a silly point. Phil soon realized that the lanky, coffee-haired teen emerging from the window was none other than the sweet boy Dan. He stood where he thought the boy couldn't see him and tried to figure why he was sitting outside of his window, but not going anywhere. Dan was an odd boy, but had a certain charm from what he could tell. Phil thought Dan was rather lovely, which wasn't that uncommon.

This will make more sense in the future hopefully. Just a small filler chapter.
