I sat carefully on the floor and just stared at him. He would have been beautiful if his hair wasn't in strains and he had a shower. I noticed he had some fingers missing on both hands. Pinky and middle. He scooted a little closer to me to get a better look. I noticed he had pail green eyes and a marking of some type on his neck. Maybe a burn but I wasn't sure.
We sat and stared at each other. It soon turned into a staring contest. After a while I blinked and he almost laughed. "Are you a monster?" I asked me. He made a noise that was a sign mixed with an almost chuckle. "No." He said in a raspy voice. "I don't even know where I am." I looked around and said "I don't know either.......so you're not the monster in my walls. I hear you moan sometimes." He looked sad and moved a little closer. "I'm sorry if I've frighten you. I'm hurt and I can't get out of here." I noticed he was in chains that where digging into his skin. "Do you have a name?" I asked. He cleared his voice and it was more boyish now than before. "I'm William. Or at lest I was."
I jerked awake. I looked around the room trying to find out how I got back here. My brother walked into my room and sat on my bed. He was only 2 years older than me. "I've noticed you're starting to sleepwalk again. Where do you go?" I thought about it for awhile and spoke honestly, "I'm not even sure."
