Violet's point of view
"Ah. Violet, there you are." Andy greeted me as I entered my room. "Oh, hey Andy." I gave a small wave. "I replaced the lock on your window, the darn thing broke off." He made a face. "Broke off? By itself?" I asked in disbelief. "I guess so, the whole thing just, fell." He shrugged and walked out of my room in slow steps. "Want anything to eat Vi?" I shook my head and patted my stomach. "No thanks, I'm still full." He smiled and walked down the stairs. Andy had been so busy with work these days that I was usually alone in the house. Today was one of his rare days off where we could actually do stuff together like eat out or hang out at the mall. Although today was also one of those days where we cleaned the house. The vacuum went off downstairs, so I just started to clean up my room. I got my stuff back after a week so it was scattered about the floor and on the bed.
I put my headphones in and listened to some Eminem so the cleaning wouldn't seem as boring. I danced a little as I picked stuff off the floor and cabinets. I cleaned out my bathroom and the railing around the stairs. I stopped when everything was practically shining. I removed my ear buds and realized that that there was no sound. Andy must have left while I was cleaning. It took me at least two to three hours to clean everything. I sprayed some fabreeze that was lying around, but a bit too much. I coughed and opened my bedroom window to let the substance settle and make my room smell like "Citrus fruit." Satisfied, I went downstairs and turned on the T.V to look for some Spongebob or Fairly odd parents.
After a couple episodes, my eyes got really droopy. I curled up in a little ball and closed my eyes, hoping that Andy would be back soon.

When I awoke, it was pitch black. The T.V was off an I had a blanket wrapped around my body. I don't recall ever getting up to get one. Was Andy here? I got off the couch and fumbled for the light switch in the kitchen. The light flickered on, and I walked over to the garage. Andy's car wasn't there. I walked back inside with my hand on my head. I've been asleep for hours. "Wow." I said to myself as I checked the clock. It was almost midnight. My stomach growled rather loudly, leading me back to the kitchen. I opened the freezer only to find out that Andy had eaten the last hot pocket that I was saving up. "Andy..." I whined, opening the fridge. We luckily still had some leftovers of lazaña. I filled a bowl and heated it in the microwave.
While waiting for my food to finish up, I went upstairs to change. As soon as I walked in, a cold breeze swept through me. I shivered and walked over to my window which I had left open, but something was wrong. Sure I had left the window open, but I never took the screen off. I stopped dead in my tracks, I didn't make a sound. Come to think of it, I never turned the T.V off. Then there it was, that strong feeling again. I looked around my room slowly before rushing to the bedroom door and slammed it shut, locking it quick in the process. Someone was in the house, an it was watching me.
I quickly grabbed the phone that Andy conveniently placed on my bedside, and dialed his number. Andy picked up after the second ring. "Hello?" His voice cracked and he laughed like an idiot. "Andy!" I hissed into the phone. "I think there's someone in the house!" I looked around again to listen. Andy kept laughing a little. "What?" It sounded like he was fumbling with his phone. "Where are you?!" I hissed again, tightly grabbing the receiver. "I'm ... I'm at my ... my buddies." He stuttered. "Andy, are you drunk?" I asked in disbelief as my mouth hung open. He laughed loudly. "What? No!" He laughed again. "Andy! Please come home! I-" I was cut off by a loud crash coming from downstairs. Oh god.
It was obvious that Andy was going to be of no help. I hung up on his obnoxious laughter and dialed 911. They picked up almost immediately. "Hello this is 911 what is your emergency?" A lady answered. "Please help! There's someone in my house and-" my door crashed open with a loud BANG. I dropped the phone as I realized who it was that was in my house. Everything went quiet, the lady on the other end of the phone was still trying to talk to me. Jeff was here. He lowered his foot, he had kicked the door open. "Jeff." I whispered loud enough for him to hear. He smiled widely.
