Jeff The Killers point of view

I made it to the orphanage in a couple days after I killed Collin. The building wasn't that big and looked like it was close to collapsing. This is where Violet was staying? It looks horrible! I scrunched up my nose in disgust. I drove around the corner so no one would suspect anything. For a couple days I raided people's houses in secret for some food and to kill time. Of course when I was bored I'd wake some up and put them back to sleep; permanently. It was the best kind of fun.

Sometimes I would inspect the orphanage to learn every square foot of it. I found the power and water supply in no time flat. Then I decided I would wait until the next full moon to attack, when the night sky was at its most beautiful. It would be perfect.

I drove around the block a couple times around 11, confirming that everyone was asleep in the orphanage. Every light was off so I was pretty sure that everything was good. I parked my car right in front of the building this time. I would take Violet, kill anyone who was in the way, and make a quick escape. Easy.

I got out of the car and onto the sidewalk. The cool breeze went strait through me, but I didn't complain. I took out my flashlight that I had in my pocket and walked around the building. Humming a song from System If A Down, I cut some wires here and there with my favorite knife. Some sparks came out flying at me so I stepped back.

I'd have to get in through the front. I turned my flashlight off and walked to the front door. I chuckled to myself as I pick the lock with the tip of my knife, thinking about Violet. I wonder how she is. A low click echoes inside and I turn the handle, opening the door slowly to stop any squeaking noises.

I close the door behind me. My eyes adjust to the darkness almost instantly. Everything was cheap looking and old. I look around a little more before I hear a gasp. I turn around quickly not making a sound. A fat lady with a nightgown was in the room. She tries to turn the light on, but can't. I smile as I notice she can't see anything. She takes a couple steps back towards the window, to the moonlight. I follow her slowly, waiting for her to scream. And she does. She sees me as I step into the light, my knife gleams. Her scream is so loud that I hear a ringing in my ear for a couple seconds before I slice her neck with one swift, horizontal cut.

Her blood squirts out of the deep gash. Her weakened body falls to the ground with a loud THUMP. I smile to myself and kneel down, cutting her stomach deeply. After about two minutes, a bunch of girls come out of their rooms and see me. They all scream as I run towards them. I shred each and every one of them, mainly to stop that awful screaming. It's girl torture. Everything becomes silent, and I search the girls for Violet. It seemed that she wasn't among them.

I hear doors opening from upstairs. I look up instinctively. They'd be coming down soon as well. I sighed angrily and headed for the stairs, licking my knife clean. The taste of blood makes me dizzy and blank-minded. "I want more." My desires demand. Every girl screams again as they see me covered in blood, heading towards them.

After about ten minutes, they all lay on the floor lifeless. I check once again for Violet, but she isn't among them. "That stupid man LIED to me." I whisper to myself as I look into the faces for every girl.

I sigh in disbelief and head into a room.

This room was covered in clouds painted on the walls. Cribs were in rows which filled the entire room. Baby's were sitting up and laying down, playing with rattles or staring at me with their big eyes. Cute. I snicker and leave the room, feeling generous. I enter each room on the first floor. Sometimes there would be some girls still lying in bed, awoken by the noise but deciding to stay in the room from fear. They, of course, would die screaming.

I'd have to get my ears checked out for sure after all of this. I made my way upstairs slowly as they creak under my weight. The second floor was longer and had more doors than the first. One by one, I inspected the rooms. Every room was empty. Absolutely no girls were left. "That bastard. I can't believe this." I banged the wall as hard as I could with my fist.

I heard a gasp. I stood still and listened. Pressing my ear to the door, I heard some short breathing. I had already checked the room, she must have been hiding from my sight. I opened the door, it creaked rather loudly. I stepped inside and locked the door behind me. Everything was dead silent.

I was certain that this time, it was her.
