The Mask
The woman kept having reoccurring dreams in which a man with a mask was trying to kill her. The mask was very distinctive. It was spiked at the top, with no eye holes, and a zipper across the mouth. In a dream she had she was looking out the window and seen the man with the mask walking up her garden path and towards her front door. She awoke from the nightmare trembling with fear. Suddenly she heard the door bell ring. She grabbed her nightgown and ran downstairs. Cautiously she took steady steps. She opened the door but no one was there. She looked down and there laid the leather mask.
