The trip to their destination was full of tension and anxious feelings for both Thomas and Guy, and once they arrived it began to get even worse. After they had landed, Roger asked if it would be okay if he stayed back, and Thomas assured him it would be fine, since they both still remembered their way around the place. Thomas opened the front door and the two walked down the familiar corridor towards the elevator. As Thomas began to enter, he turned, and noticed Guy had stopped following and was standing in the middle of the hallway still. "Aren't you coming?" Thomas asked, slightly confused. Guy sighed and put his head down. "Thomas, you know I love you, and I want you to be happy, and do what you want to do, but I just really don't like the idea of resurrecting our past." Thomas was shocked and a little angered. "What are you talking about? What's so bad about finding out things we have wanted to know our entire lives? He specifically told you to find that recording when we were older!" Guy stood up straight and spoke with an assertive yet quiet tone. "Thomas my instructions were to protect you first and foremost. Yeah, okay, I want to know what happened too but I'm afraid that whatever is on that recording will cause you to make irrational decisions, it's my job as your brother to make sure you don't do that kind of stuff. I'm only trying to help you because I care about you, and I want to obey the only task father gave me." Thomas hung his head. "Yeah I know.. I'm sorry for getting angry.I know you miss him just as much as I do. I just have to find some peace of mind. If I have to keep having these flashbacks and reliving dark memories, i at least want to understand why. I promise I won't do anything without talking to you about it first alright?" Guy nodded. "Alright. Thank you for understanding. I guess I can help you look if you want. where do you think It would be?" Thomas crossed his arms and pondered for a moment. "Let's try our old bedroom and closets first, and then if it isn't there, perhaps the old lab where the rocket used to stay." Guy nodded. "How about we split up?"

"Oh, yeah. Good idea." Replied Thomas. The two entered the elevator, and Thomas chose the floor for their old bedroom, while Guy chose the floor for the lab. Once the elevator reached Thomas's floor, he wished his brother good luck and got off. He walked into the dark and empty room and felt along the wall for a light switch. He flicked it on and the lights flickered a bit and made buzzing sounds before coming on, but only provided a small amount of dim light. He scanned the floor in the room and closet but found nothing but dust and cobwebs. Thomas walked back to the doorway and took one last look at his old room. How he missed staying there. But times had changed, and Thomas was now independent, just as Giovanni knew he would be. Thomas flicked off the lights before leaving and getting back on the elevator and going up to the lab. Once he was in, he looked around. There were still tables and desks around that couldn't be moved because they were attached to the floor, but other than that, the place was extremely empty. Thomas put his hands in his pockets and began to walk around, glancing around the room. "Guy? Where are you? Have you found anything?" He called. He heard a cabinet shut at the back of the room and watched as Guy stood up and wiped the dust off of his hands. "Nothing yet. What about you?"

"I didn't find anything either. But i don't want to give up yet." Thomas replied. Guy nodded. "Wait, remember the first toom we went to when we got here? The one with the computers and all that stuff?" Thomas asked, suddenly standing up straight. "Yeah, I think so." Guy replied. "What floor was that?" Thomas asked. Guy thought about it for a minute. "Gosh I have no idea.. That was a long time ago, and I just pushed a random button then." He said, and eyed the key pad. "wait a second... This kind of looks familiar." Guy remarked, and pointed to a button that had no number, but instead had a strange symbol on it. Thomas looked at it for a moment. "Well, it can't hurt to try." He said, and shrugged. Guy pressed the button and the elevator doors shut again. Thomas crossed his fingers and hoped fervently that this next floor would hold some answers.

Sure enough, when the doors opened once again, the dark room with the screens appeared before them. When the elevator doors closed behind them, the dim light it provided was quickly extinguished. Thomas stood still and looked around in the pitch black space. "It's much too dark to see. Isn't there a light switch in here?" He asked.

"Maybe. I will look for one." Guy responded, and felt along the wall for a switch. He found the switch and flicked it on, causing the whole room to slowly but surely come alive. The lights in the ceiling lit up, but the computer screens all flickered to life as well. Guy began to look around, but something on the screens caught Thomas's attention. As if by itself, the computer began loading something. It was a file labeled "plan b." Thomas watched as the loading bar slowly filled up. When it was finished, a familiar face flashed up on the screen. Both Thomas and Guy's artificial hearts skipped a beat. There before them was the face of their creator, and "father" Giovanni.
