A/N: Heyyo! So, I said I'll be updating in a very long time but I just can't stop my thoughts. So, I dedicate this chapter to myself. Lol

Chapter 11: A damn good kisser.

The French-Danish-Norwegian project was fast approaching. Both Alex and I were given this assignment. We were to entertain and if it didn't go well, then, goodbye France.

The main event will be held on Denmark and I still don't get why our country has to host if the prince was going to be married to me. Wasn't it supposed to be the other way around?

"-the colors has to be festive. Preferably, the colors red and yellow. Avoid the gloomy colors." The royal adviser, Catherine, babbled on.

The only thing I liked is the food tasting. They gave us Danish foods and Italian foods. We pick either if them but I suggested picking both categories but mixing the dishes.

Catherine was so proud of me.

After the work, we were given half of the afternoon free. I intended to spend it on either sleeping or finishing a book but Alex had different plans.

"Hey, Stella!" I whipped my head to his direction.

"What?" I asked in return with a monotonous tone.

"Uhm.. Do you, like, want to, you know, hang out? Like right now." He was acting weird, really.

"Well, I'm not sure if I'm doing anything. So, what are you waiting for?" He grabbed my arm and pulled me out.

"Are you sure you're not lost or anything?" I asked for the seventh time ever since he grabbed me arm.

Like his answer for the past six questions, all he gave was a damn silence.

I was so busy asking him that I didn't even notice that he already stopped. I looked at where he was looking and my mind literally blew up.

"Wow!" Was all I can exclaim.

It was a cliff but there was a river underneath it. The sun reflected around it, causing striking colors that develops an attractive scenery.

I was about to thank him for bringing me here but there was more. He beckoned me to follow him, so I did.

After passing a lot of tree vines, he led me into our destination. I, then, realized that it was a tree house. Not an abandoned house.

"What is this?" I asked, astonished of its carvings. I looked at the back and saw that it still wasn't finished.

"Well, it's what I do most of the time. When you were still in New York, I didn't have much to do in the palace and I got tired of practicing archery everyday. I found this spot and there were logs and this tree house never got ts chance to be finished. So, I'm finishing it." I took a long breath and sighed.

"Come on!"

Alex pulled out blankets and a picnic basket. I peaked inside and saw a pack of strawberries, strawberry cake in a container, and my one true love, potchi. (I know having affection for candy is crazy but I don't care)

"Potchi?" I asked him while holding up a pack.

He scratched his nape and stuttered, "I kind of looked at your Facebook account. I'm sorry?"

"What a stalker!" I faked gasped with an accent like Scarlet O'Hara from Gone With the Wind from 1939. Fortunately, he got the reference and started talking like Rhett Butler.

"Well, ma'am, sure is delightful bein' here but we best be off then." And then we broke into laughter.

I followed him back to the cliff and wondered, how long have we been there for the sun to set that fast?
