Kina's pov
I turn to Toshiro and look back to my parents.
"I'm sorry....I pick Toshiro." I say softly before walking over to him. Lights surround me and I close my eyes. I open them a few moments later and I am sitting outside in the snow. The heavy snow pierces my skin and I warm myself up as best as I can.
"Toshiro!!" I call out into the wind. I see a flame in the distance and shouting. I run faster and see Toshiro in the distance. I stop and I see Odessa shouting
"I have to find Kina!!"
"Toshiro....???? Odessa....???" I shiver. They turn around and they look at me.
"Kina!!" Toshiro cries. We embrace each other and I kiss him with passion.
"I wanted to stay with you Toshi" I cry into his chest. He pets my blonde hair and lets out a soft sigh.
"I don't want you to leave me again Kina" He smiles.
I continue to cry into his chest and I see flashes of my family smiling at me.
"We are always waiting for you Kina. When it is time for you to rejoin us, we will welcome you" Orin whispers in my mind. I heat up and I feel my tears burn against Toshiro. He doesn't seem to mind it.
"I want to protect you, like you protected me all those years ago" I cry. He lifts my chin to his soft gaze.
"You were the one who protected me. You were the one who gotten me to fall for you" He whispers in my ear.
"You were the boy at the academy dance. All these years.... I never knew that I was in love with you in the academy. I did something dumb all those years ago. My mind was burning, I needed the ice to cool it but I was always torn away from you" I smile through my tears. Toshiro pulls away from me and he picks me up bridal style.
"I always wanted you to remember me. I have loved you since I met you in the human world. I know you were dying but.... You had such a gentle heart. You wanted to protect your family. And now you lost them all" He sighs.
"I didn't lose you. I know that's cheesy but I love you Toshiro." I snuggle into his chest. The storm stops and I see everyone from the party surround us.
"Kina??" Toshiro blushes.
"Yes?" I reply. He sits me down onto the snow and pulls out a small box from his pocket and kneels before me.
"Toshiro....." I gasp
