The Finale (Epilogue)

12 years later

Kina's pov

I return to the Soul Society from a mission in the human world. I enter my home and see Toshiro sparing with our daughter. Her name is Yukishiro. It means snow generation. Shes around twelve now and Toshiro has been training her for the academy. I wave to Toshiro and he stops and hugs me.
"Mommy!!" Yukishiro smiles. I turn to our daughter and pick her up. Her snow white hair sways in the wind as I spin her around the room, her teal green eyes light up with joy.
"Kina if you keep spinning her, she will lose her concentration!" He growls. I roll my eyes and kiss him softly.
"Ewwww gross" Yukishiro sticks out her tongue at us and Toshiro starts running after Yukishiro and I begin laughing.
"Go easy on her!!" I shout at Toshiro.
"I'll go easy, Come back here Yukishiro!! Daddy is going to freeze you!!" He laughs.

Yukishiro's pov

I sprint down the barracks and my dad is quickly catching up to me. I bump into Rangiku.
"Hello little marshmallow!" She smiles at me. I hide behind her and she looks back at me.
"My daddy is after me. I need you to distract him." I giggle. I see my dad running towards me and I sprint off. I look over my shoulder and see Rangiku move to let him pass.
"TRAITOR!!" I shout back. I run to the top of a hill and daddy tackles me.
"Got you!" He laughs. We roll down the hill and fall into the lake below.
"Did you two just ruin your clothes!!" I hear my mother shout from the top of the hill. I burst into laughter and she makes her way down to us.
"Toshiro Hitsugaya!! How dare you let Yukishiro get soaking wet!! That's her Christmas dress!!" She begins shouting at my dad. I grab the edge of her ribbon that is wrapped around her wrist and pull her in with us. She looks annoyed at first and then joins us in our laughter. We get out of the lake and my mother begins drying my clothes with her fire magic. She has such amazing powers, so does daddy. Once I am all dry, I begin walking back to the house when I hear something whisper in my mind.
"We will meet soon little one. My name is-"
"Yukishiro!! Time to get to the Christmas party!!" I am interrupted by my mother calling down to me. I give her a nod and run towards the main hall.

Kina's pov.

I give Toshiro a dirty look and he picks me up by my waist. He twirls me around the lake.
"Yukishiro!! Rukia will keep an eye on you until we arrive at the party." Toshiro shouts up to her. Yukishiro waves at us from the top of the hill and she runs inside. Toshiro sits me down onto the grass and sits on my lap. I begin blushing and he kisses my forehead.
"Even after all these years you still look as beautiful as you do now" He smirks. I playfully push him and he kisses my lips. I sit up and he kisses me again. I go rosy red and he pulls away.
"Are you embarrassed??" He smirks.
"Only of you!!" I laugh. He knows I'm joking and he grabs my breast. I gasp and he smirks evilly at me.
"Your a pervert!!" I growl. He leans in closer to my ear and whispers.
"Only to you Kina" I feel myself getting turned on but I refuse to let him do that to me.
"I see that you are distracted??" He smiles.
"I just miss Orin." I sigh. Toshiro takes me hand and kisses it.
"You made the right choice. Don't you ever forget that. You have a family with me." He kisses my forehead. I stand up and he smiles at me.
"We should be getting to the party. Don't want anyone thinking that we are doing anything" I wink.
"One round??" He asks. I whack him and blood comes out of my nose.
"LOOK WHAT YOU DID!!" I shout at him. I wipe the blood from my nose and he bursts into laughter.

Toshiro's pov

I stare into Kina's green eyes and she blushes. I look up at the hill and I begin remembering something from long ago.
*Flashback*

"I could kill you here and now....But Kina would not like for me to murder her only brother" I growl. I sheathe Hyiromaru and return to Kina.
"What happened in here??" I hear Kina gasp. I run over to her and hug her tightly.
"Umm....Toshiro.....Why are you hugging me??" She asks me. A tear runs down my face and I see Orin smirk at me.
"Don't.....Call me Toshiro.... Its Hitsugaya." I sigh. I let her go and walk out of the room. I grab Orin's arm and he looks at me.
"You did this. No matter what happens in the future. I will never like you" I whisper before walking out of her room. Orin slams the door and I walk out to the garden. I pick up her music box I never gave her and play it to myself.
"I will not allow myself to fall for you again. Kina Mushiora" I sigh as I bring the box back into the room where it shall remain.

*Flashback over*

The music box... I made it for Kina when I accidentally broke hers all those years ago in the academy. I stand up and walk up to the blossom tree, Kina following behind me.
"I forgot about this years ago. I always wanted to give this to you. As an apology for breaking your music box all those years ago." I sigh. I kneel down to the roots of thetree and dig up a white box with Kina's name on it. I open the box and there sits a hand carved wooden music box. I stand up and turn to Kina, holding the box in my hands. I hand it to Kina and she opens it and the music begins to play (Play the music above now)
"Toshiro...." A tear runs down Kina's face and I wipe it away with my thumb.

Kina's pov

As I continue to listen to the lullaby, memories come back to me and I feel my heart ache with happiness. The lullaby was from my mother. She used to play it for me to help me sleep.
"How were you able to make this?" I gasp. He gently takes my hand and presses a button at the bottom of the box. There is a small note and I pull it out.
"Dear Kina,

A young boy came to me this morning and he said that he knows you. My name is Yuki Mushiora. I am your mother. By the time I am writing this, I am 12 years old. Toshiro told me that you are 103 years old and when he showed me a picture of you I began remembering everything. My little Kina, do not blame yourself because of what happened to you and your father. I know that I am a child now but I still remember you. It was my fault we got into that accident when we were all alive. I was giving out to your father and he couldn't keep his concentration. Please forgive me Kina. I love you so much. I hope we can meet again, either in the Soul Society or in this live.
Love,
Yuki Mushiora." I cannot hold back my tears anymore and I begin crying. Toshiro holds me close to him and he comforts me.
"Thank you Toshi..." I sob into his chest. He pets my hair and I continue to cry into his chest.
"You should of had this sooner" He sighs. I look up and shake my head.
"I would rather know now than earlier. Thank you Toshi!" I sob even more. I feel him pick me up bridal style and carry me inside the barracks.
"It's time for the party" He smiles at me. I wipe the rest of the tears from my eyes and give him a nod.
"Let's go in Toshiro Hitsugaya" I smile.
"After you Kina Hitsugaya" He bows and I begin to blush as I walk into the party and embrace the music.
