Erica, Charlie and I were drinking some smoothies in the mall. I called them last night and told them I needed to tell them something and they immediately showed up at my house this morning. Matt didn't know what was happening, seeing that he never knew we were together.

We came to the mall and I told them everything that happened with Brian, from our confesion to me leaving.

"That bitch." Erica said.

"Yea how dare she? And Brian is a fucking prick." Charlie said.

I sighed. "I feel guilty." I said.

"What?! Why?!" they both said in unison.

"Not because of what he did but because I let myself fall into his trap. I bet he's told hundreds of girls exactly what he told me last night and they all fall like I did. It's...stupid." I said and sipped my smoothie.

Charlie rubbed my shoulder. "Hey. Don't beat yourself up over that. Girls are girls and live is love. You're going to fall in love wether you like it or not."

"I know," I looked down at my hands, "and that's what frustrates me so much. I still have the same feelings for him I had last night, and I should hate him right now. Right?" I looked up at them and they looked at me with worried eyes.

"Look sweetie, it isn't going to be that easy to forget him. It's never easy to forget any guy. And you may try to avoid him but it's going to be hard. And unless you decide to tell Matt what happened, your going to be seeing him at your house as much as before." Erica said.

It was true. He would probably try to talk to me. But yet again, what if he didn't? What if he avoided and ignored me just as much as I avoided and ignored him? Would that hurt more?

"What if he ignores me? What if instead of trying to explain what happened to me, he totally avoids me? What will I do then?"

They sighed. "You think about the worst yet very possible events that could happen." Charlie said.

"But you said that he tried to explain last night. If he didn't want to explain now he wouldn't have tried to begin with, right?" Erica said.

"Brian is Brian," I said, "he's unpredictable."

"Is it just me or has that guy been looking at us for the pat five minutes?" Charlie motioned at a table close to us where a guy was sitting alone. He looked well built with light brown hair that was slightly curled. There was a cellphone on his hand and a soda bottle on his table.

"Yea. I though it was just me. It looks as if he's staring more at Michaela though." Erica said.

"Hey," Charlie shrugged, "he's cute."

"Screw Brian, Micky," Erica nudged me, "you can have any guy you want."

"Ooh! He's coming this way!" Charlie squealed.

The guy walked over to our table.

"Hello ladies." he said.

I didn't like him. He said two words and I already didn't like him. He seemed like a...pretty rich boy. I turned to look at Erica. I gave her a look and she knew exactly what I meant. Her shoulders slumped.

"Hi there." Charlie said.

"I would offer you girls a drink bit I see that you already have a beverage." he said. His eyes landed on me and he started eyeing me.

"Yes. Thank you, though." Erica said trying to be nice.

"So what are your names?" he asked us.

"I'm Charlie, that's Erica and she is Michaela." she said and smiled.

"Nice to meet you girls, my name is Troy." he said and smiled at us.

At that moment, my phone vibrated in my pocket. I took it out and looked at the caller I.D. It was Brian.

"Shit." I said. The girls looked at me, ignoring Troy.

"Who is it?" Erica said and looked at me.

I gave them a look. "I think you already know." I said.

"Oh no." Charlie said.

"Troy, it's been really nice meeting you but we have to go." Erica said getting up and grabbing her smoothie. Charlie and I got up and got our own smoothies.

"Answer." Charlie whispered.

"Okay. Well I'll see you around then." Troy said and left.

"Yea see you around." Erica said as we started walking to the exit of the mall.

I answered the phone and put it to my ear.

"Hello?" I croaked out.

"Michaela? Thank God you answered. I need to talk to you." Brian said, sounding relieved that I answered the phone.

I sighed. "I don't know..." I said.

"No, trust me. Just meet me at the park by your house in 20 minutes. We need to talk about this. Please."

"Fine. I'll be there."

"Thanks Micky. You won't regret it."

I sighed and hung up the phone. We were in the parking lot outside of Erica's car.

"What did he say?" Charlie asked.

"I'm meeting him at the park in 20 minutes."
