The future
My loves
My demons
My mate
But whom I see the beauty in

Whom I see the red and black in
Could be someone you once knew
You think that you can comfort me
At times
My terrors
My fears
My screams
But you wouldn't know where to start
Trying to chase away the fear
You would not be able to see
The monsters that stand before me clear.
For you see I have so much more than you, with my courage, strength and wit
I am a candle long burnt out, waiting to be relit
And when the day arrives, and my fire again appears
I will chase away the monsters, the terrors and the fears
