The day of Antigone's death, Teiresias enters the courtroom building with his guide dog. Creon is standing near the door on his phone trying to reach his son. Haimon, of course, is ignoring him. "I am looking for Creon." Teiresias speaks out to the whole room.
"Hello, Teiresias. Why did you come here? I don't particularly need your wise words at the moment," Creon tells him.
"Listen to me, Creon. I have talked to God and Satan recently. They seem to think that you are deserving of punishment. As I was summoning our God, two birds fought outside my window. My guide dog sat there barking at them and I could hear the squawks and screams from each bird. This was a sign from heaven. All men make mistakes, Creon. You have just made a very big one compared to others. I am not trying to accuse you of anything, but God and Satan both want revenge on you. You sentenced a girl to death for simply trying to revive her brother. You should stop this as soon as you can." Teiresias informs Creon.
"I have been good my whole life! Why would the gods want to give me a punishment for one bad thing I've done? I know that sentencing Antigone to this is not correct! I don't care what you have to say for your words of wisdom seem useless to me." Creon simply states.
"You've driven me to speak some harsh words---" Teiresias is cut off
"Tell me! I want to know what you think," Creon demands.
"Fine. Take this to heart, you foolish boy. For the death of Antigone, you will pay. Killing a child of Satan and God will get you into more trouble than you can imagine. In a few days, you will be sat in a funeral home surrounded by sadness. You will be just as sad as them. Now, I must be leaving. Come on, King, we are going now." Teiresias says as King, his guide dog, leads him to the door.
"The old man left. Creon, I'm afraid his words seem true. I don't remember the last time Teiresias told a lie..." The Judge tells Creon.
"What should I do? His words are imprinted in my brain." Creon asks.
"Take my advice: free Antigone before it is too late." The Judge urges him.
"Is that a good idea? Are you allowing me to do this? You have the final say in this since you are the judge," Creon asks nervously.
"Yes, go now! You don't have much time!" The Judge yells at him as Creon runs towards the electric chair room.
