Eva's POV :-
After Claire had left, I decided to take a look around the city and probably get to know this place for my own good. Arriving here a month ago, I had yet so much to uncover. All the time since I've been here, has only been invested in keeping an eye on this mansion and since a common friend introduced me and Claire to each other so that I could settle here comfortably- I only know her here. Her thinking that we shared a mutual friend was absolutely necessary. Loose ends lead to traces and traces lead to inevitability of discovery.
So paying the waitress I stood up and gathered my stuff to take off. This place has changed so much that I cannot even recognize any street or even a forest around here. I need to know the Stuff that goes on around here. Keeping a careful watch is what has kept me alive for this long and I do not intend on having it any other way.
The world is a dark place? I think about this sometimes. One narrative places its bets on the fact claiming people are the darkness. I beg to differ. People try to be good. The world and their destinies grab the darkness out from deep within them and pull out. Even with the Alesina's I do still think that their desires and destinies and situations put them here.
My phone buzzed indicating a call, fishing it out of my bag I put it on my ear. "I have found the last ingredients. You can come by anytime and we can start it." came a familiar voice from the other end.
"I am on my way. Lets do it today," I replied to her and picked up my pace.
"Alright and you remember your promise?" She asked me.
"I do not give my word unless I know I can fulfill it. Don't worry if I have to jump between here and the veil I will. I will be there shortly". I assured her and hung up turning the corner. Guess sight seeing just got pushed back on the list of things to do.
I have been waiting a long long long time to do all this. And now I have my chance. The thought of meeting him overwhelms me but it was long overdue. This need for revenge that runs through my veins like blood has waited long enough. Either I put a stop to the running or surrender, that were the two options Michael gave me. I chose the third one. I'd inflict enough pain on them that they wouldn't be able to come after me or be powerful enough to incur a surrender.

"Just focus on the memory you want to go through then when you find it, cage it in your mind and circle around it. Its simple just a little concentration. And move your head forward to break the power contact where you want to stop. Okay?" Abelia instructed me and i nodded in response.
I had been sitting like this on a chair, my head between her palms for 15 minutes. Every time she started chanting the spell I had to break the connection. What seems more hard now than the search for ingredients to this spell is controlling my memories. They all flash in one go making it too much for my mind to handle. I can't let everything through at once. The first step into it all and I'd ruin everything if not done right. I've heard how intuitive he is and the consequences of one wrong move can destroy it all.
Taking a deep breath I got myself ready and search through my memories. What would be the memory that brings forth a reaction. Once I found it, caging it was now the most important task. I had to trim the edges in order to only put through what was important. I kept running around it maybe if I encircle it I could cage it. It was getting near to how I wanted it.
"Okay do it. Now Abelia" I motion her to start it.
As soon as she started the spell, pain coursed through me. What helped me this time was that it was lesser than before and it did get lesser with every second. Maybe I just had to focus.
