This is the order of life. This is how things go. It's just the way things work. Now can I explain why? No. But I guess that is just how things are meant to be.
My name is Hizeki Kuyya. I am a one eyed ghoul. This is how my life goes. I was born with two parents. My mother, a human, and a father, a human. Yes you may be wondering, "How are you a one eyed ghoul?" Well, my mother cheated with a ghoul. She knew it was that ghouls child. When my father found out he left us.
So my mother had a daily visit to Anteiku and gathered flesh for me. But on the day when I turned nine, my father came back. But not in a good way. He killed my mother. So I was forced to kill him. It was my first "large" meal. The first time I had ever killed.
For a few years I lived alone. But then I decided it was time to go. At the age of thirteen I went to Anteiku. I'd go into that story right now, but I'll save that for another time.
This is how things work. I call it, The order of life.
