14. "If my parents knew what I was doing, they'd kill me."

*Your P.O.V.*

Just like every other morning, you rolled over and checked your phone and saw what you saw every day on the screen.

Laxus~ (Y/n). You know I didn't mean it, I was at a friends party I'm sorry.

Laxus~ Babe?

Y/N: ....You always do this Laxus. Everyday, you go out and party, try to get in the pants of some chick, then you come home and berate me, beat me, hurt me! I've had enough! I'm done!  

Laxus~ If that's how you feel (Y/N), fine then. You're a worthless piece of shit! I never wanted to be engaged to you. Just piss off (Y/N) and go cry your problems out to someone else. I'll see you at home by 6 pm, and if you aren't there you better hope I don't find you!

Y/N: After all you have done, you have the audacity to threaten me even more! BERATE me even more. YOU LAXUS! Are the one who needs to piss off! If you didn't want to be engaged to me, then break it off! I was forced into this! So good bye asshole!

The conversation stopped how it always did, both of you at each others throats. You sat your phone back on the night stand and went to the bathroom to look in the mirror. At that time Rogue had started to walk up the stairs. When you walked out of the bathroom and into your room and found Rogue scrolling through your phone. 

"(Y/N). Why do you let him treat you like this. It's disgusting, it's horrible. How can you stay with him after what he does to you!" Rogue pleaded and questioned, never understanding why you were still with Laxus.

"If I had a choice I wouldn't be with him Rogue. If I ever had a choice in my life I probably would be in some other country away from the devils I call family." You muttered and sat down beside him. He wrapped his arm around you and pulled you in for a hug. 

"There is no way I am letting you leave here and go to him (Y/N). He's a scumbag and doesn't deserve you." Rogue sighed, knowing what would happen if he let you leave. You've been put in the hospital several times due to his anger.  He didn't want to have to visit his best friend in the hospital, just because her scumbag of a boyfriend didn't like it when she was with others. 

"I don't want to leave either, but I'm gonna have to. If my parents knew what I was doing, they'd kill me. They force me to stay with him, because it helps their business. They are the ones who forced me into this relationship. I feel like they just want to get rid of me because I'm some burden of sorts. I just don't know anymore." You sighed getting up off the floor and moving towards the door.

Rogue stood up and followed you. He hated seeing you like this, even more so when you were with Laxus. You never knew how hard it was for Rogue to not go up and beat the shit out of him. He grabbed your bag and phone, and handed them to you. You hugged him and walked down the stairs. You were thankful that Rogue let you stay in the guest room of his house when you needed to. You hugged him again and left. Knowing you would most likely be there again soon.
