It was a cold and snowy day (Uh I dunno the day before Christmas or it is christmas?) in Magnolia, and all the guild members were having fun outside, not to mention one member specifically you. You were in the middle of a snowball fight with Natsu and Gray, when some of the snowballs hit Erza. "Who. Threw. That." She bellowed, before Natsu and Gray could escape you decided to throw them under the bus. "Natsu and Gray did it." You chirped and ran away, going into the guild. With your face flushed from being outside, you walked up to the bar and sat down and ordered a drink.

"Hey Mira? Could I get a (F/D) Please?" "Yes, one second please (Y/N)." Mirajane called out as she was making some one else's drink. Little be known a certain blond haired dragonslayer was watching you. After receiving said beverage you walked over to Lucy and talked to her. Mirajane being the person she is, she went over to Laxus and began to question him. "So I saw you watching (Y/N)." All he did was shoot her a glance then went back to his drink, but Mira kept quizzing him. "If you were watching her, it must mean you like her." And before Laxus knew what he was doing he snapped at Mira. "Tch. Me, Like (Y/N).? As if." Not knowing you were behind him with a gift in your hand just for him and Lucy next to you. Mira gasped and he spun around with guilt and terror written on his face. You on the other hand were fuming with rage. "If that's how you feel, you jerk FINE!" You barked, turned around throwing his gift to the ground and ran out the door. Laxus stood there not knowing what to do until Evergreen spoke to him. "Go Laxus. You're the one who crushed her hopes." He looked at the ground with conflict in his eyes, before he ran out after you into the cold. "(Y/N)! (Y/N)! Where are you!" He wailed, trying to find you before anything bad could happen to you. When he found you it was far to late. He raced over to your battered and bloody body right before the life faded from your eyes. Cradling your almost lifeless body. "(Y-Y/N) don't go please I didn't mean what I said back there at the guild." He sobbed into the crook of your neck. You weakly turned your head to look at him when he raised his head, to face you. You smiled then hoarsely spoke. "L-laxus....I k-knew you......didn't mean it. But at least take my body back to the guild and open the gift please?" He nodded with tears in his eyes as you smiled your last smile. He waited until he knew you were gone and then took you back to the guild, where everyone crowded around. Some smiling sad smiles and some crying as he opened the gift in front of your body. Erza and Laxus cried as they looked at the gift. What was the gift you ask? Well it was a picture of you, Erza and Laxus on top of the float at the parade smiling and holding your hands in the sky as Laxus showed both of you earlier. And that my dear readers was the gift, you gave, to the one and only man you had truly liked.
