Break Down My Walls.

Chapter 5: I hate boys now.

Well time to make up an excuse I guess. Here goes nothing.

"Umm"

"Mavis..." he says impatiently

"Ok so there was a car driving and I was walking so it hit me by mistake and I got a black eye" this will also be used as an excuse for my rib if he by any chance found out about that too. I thank god that he doesn't know me well enough to tell if I'm lying or not, because he believed me.

"When was that though?" of course there are questions why am I not surprised.

"Like 2 days ago?" I say, well more like ask but whatever.

"Do you need to go to the hospital?"

"No its fine" I say but he insists so we end up going to the hospital.

*At the hospital*

We enter and go to the counter where there's a woman sitting, we tell her what we need and we enter a room waiting for the doctor. The doctor comes in a couple of minutes later.

"Hi, what have we got today?" the doctor asks and pencil guy tells him.

"Yeah I noticed her eye, but I'm not sure a car can do that if anything it would be much worse and definitely not just a black eye. Do you have any other bruises, scars, or injuries?" way to blow my cover doc.

"No I don't" I lie through my teeth.

"You sure?"

"Yep"

"Can you please stand up?" well fuck. I stand up and I squint at my rib so the doctor notices it and checks and of course there's that big freakin bruise.

"Here we go, now it makes more sense" he says. Well look on the bright side he believed that it was from a car and not the one and only Seth White.

Luke looks at me like I betrayed him or some shit but hun don't because trust me I don't need your shit too. Once were done with the hospital we leave and pay and blah blah blah. When we get in the car what I expect happens which is questions and a lot of them.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because you don't need to know"

"Yes I do"

"No you don't ok"

"Well I want to know because its my concern"

"No its not ok and its definitely not your business so just let it go ok"

"Are you sure its just because of a car?"

"For gods sake yes why the hell do you care that much anyway, I don't want you to care and you shouldn't so stop"

"Well I do care" he says and after that its just silence until I get home.

"Thanks for the ride.... Ummmm I had fun" I say.

"Yeah no problem, I had fun too" he says and before he could say anything else I just head to the door and open it then shut it and run up the stairs to my room.

"Mavis?" Jay says but I don't respond and just act like I'm asleep. He goes into the room and sees me 'sleeping' so he shuts off the light and closes the door.

*Next Day*

I wake up and I thank god it's Saturday. I know a person usually eats breakfast and washes up when they wake up and no one is in the mood to actually start studying at like 9 am in the morning but I'm not like that so I just start studying so I can be free tomorrow and all day today.
