"Conah! Conah, wake up!"
Conah groaned and rubbed his eyes. Aralim jumped on the edge of the bed with the widest possible smile. His eyes glinted from the bright christmas lights that were delicately hung in their bedroom.
"Come on! Come on! It's Christmas eve! There's presents under the tree!"
"Oh, really?" Conah yawned, remembering he had set the presents at the tree late at night.
"Yeah! So, come on! Come on, Conah!"
Aralim practically yelled with excitement as he jumped off of the bed and ran into the living room.
As Conah followed, he heard Aralim jumping around. He chuckled as Aralim saw him and smiled. "Come on! Hurry!"
Conah assured Aralim the presents wouldn't disappear or run away and sat down next to the tree. Aralim smiled and grabbed a present. Its wrapping was light blue with snowflakes, and was decorated with a small red bow. Conah looked puzzled. I don't remember wrapping that one, he thought to himself.
Aralim handed the present to Conah. Conah's eyes softened. "Aw, Ara.. thank you."
"No problem! Now, hurry up and open it so I can open my presents!" Aralim stuck his tongue out as Conah smiled and rolled his eyes.
Conah calmly removed the wrapping paper, revealing a set of new earbuds. "Ara..." Conah mumbled as he set his present on the floor. "Thank you.." Conah glomped Aralim, sending the both of them on the ground.
"C-Can I open my presents now?"
"Oh, um, yes. Right after this." Conah used two fingers to bring Aralim's chin closer. Making sure there was no more space inbetween their lips.
