Blake grunts. "How do you like that?! Huh?" He smashes Rylan's face against the wall of the alley again.

Rylan screams and thrashes, but she is no match for Blake. He pops the button off her jeans in his haste and yanks her jeans down. Blake thrusts into her, over and over until she feels numb. When he grows tired, he lets Rylan drop to the ground. She curls up against the wall, trying to reclothe herself as much as she can.

Blake bends down to get closer to her ear. "It's been fun cupcake. Now I have to go deal with Blondie."

Rylan shudders, wishing she could pull herself up and stop Blake from hurting Dani. She listens as Blake's footsteps resound off the alley walls.

Rylan screams. "No!" She feels blind. Where is she? Still in the alley? It's so dark.

Mr. Winchester comes bursting in the room, flicking the lights on. "Rylan? Are you arlight? What's wrong?"

Rylan stares at her father, finally realizing it was a nightmare. Except those things had really happened. It wasn't real this time, but it had been a few hours ago. The tears flow. "Dad." Her voice comes out as a strangled sob.

Mr. Winchester walks over to his daughter and places his arm around her shoulders. He holds her tight against his chest. "Hey, shh... It was only a nightmare. It can't hurt you. You're safe now."

But he has no idea. He doesn't know that his daughter has been raped and that Blake can continue to harass her unless she does something about him. Rylan is safe now, but she knows tomorrow will bring with it new trials and terror. The nightmare isn't nearly over.

For now, she allows herself to cry and hold her father close. The minutes wear on and soon Mr. Winchester sooths his daughter back to sleep. He worries that there's something more going on than just a terrible dream, but what? Rylan tells him everything. If something were bothering her, he'd know. However, he can't shake the feeling that he's missing some important detail.

The next morning Rylan can't move. She panics when her limbs won't respond to her commands. She can't be paralyzed! Rylan struggles some more before finally forcing her arms to move and push herself up. It's a relief, but she nearly cries out in pain. There isn't a spot on her body that doesn't ache. Rylan wants to climb back under the covers and probably could get away with a sick day, but she remembers her nightmare all too vividly. If she goes back to sleep, Blake will continue to haunt her dreams. It's not worth it.

Rylan ignores the discomfort every move brings and forces herself into the bathroom so she can assess the damage in the mirror. She removes her pajamas so she's naked except for her underwear. Dark purple and black finger marks line her arms. It's especially bad on her left forearm where she tried to block the majority of Blake's blows. There are bruises on her shoulder blades, her knees and shins, and the sides of her neck. The neck will be the hardest to cover up. Thank goodness her hair mostly covered them last night when her dad came in. There are also red chafe marks along her inner thighs. Her left cheek is a little puffy and tender from being hit multiple times.

Rylan doesn't like having to take the time to put on makeup, but it might be necessary to keep attention off the rest of her. She manages to pull faded blue jeans and a long sleeve blue turtle-neck onto her battered frame, then quickly applies some light makeup and tries to smooth out as many tangles in her hair as she can. Rylan ends up pulling it back into a messy ponytail to deal with later when she has the time.
