Chapter 2

It's been 2 years.

Riley is dating Lucas.

Zay, a guy that Riley, Maya, Lucas and Farkle met, joined the group of friends.

~Maya~

I'ts 7:00 am, today is the first day of school, and I definetly don't want to go.

I got up and picked the clothe I would wear today. My favourite shirt of the Beatles, a black skirt, and my brown boots. When I was ready I went to the Matthews's house to pick up Riley.

All the way to school Riley talked about Lucas and what they did in the summer. She said he was acting a little weird lately, but everytime she asked him what was going on he said 'nothing'. I told her maybe he just missed Texas to calm her down, then I got distracted and nodded every time. Riley said something, but I didn't know what she was talking about anymore.

In school

When we got to school Riley and I went to the principal's office to see in what clases we were together.

"We only have three clases together Maya, that's not fair!!" Riley said

"Well, don't get your hopes down yet Riley, you might be with Lucas, Zay or Farkle in all of your clases" I said.

"Maybe, but that means you only would have three clases with them too!" you could know by the look on Riley's face that she was pretty mad.

"Let's find them first" I said and started walking

"Okay"

We looked for Farkle, Lucas and Zay for about 6 minutes, until we found them talking to the Principal.

"I can't change your clases!" the principal said, "You'll have to make new friends to talk to!" and he left

"Hey, what was all that about?" I asked the guys

"Ugh, Farkle and Zay got almost all the clases together, but I barely got one class with them, what are your clases?" Lucas asked

"Let me see" Riley said to Lucas, "I only have two clases with you! I only have three clases with my best friend and only two with my boyfriend! At least I have you guys" she said smiling to Farkle and Zay, "We have almost all of the clases together".

"Well, I only have one class with Farkle and Zay, but I have almost of my clases with Ranger Rick" I said.

The bell rang and Riley and Lucas went on the first class they had together. I went with Farkle and Zay to the only class we had together, history, at least we have Mr. Matthews!

~Riley~

Lucas and I were entering the classroom when the Maths teacher stopped us. We realized everyone in the classroom was in a line, oh no, please don't tell me the teacher chooses the seats, is one of my two clases with Lucas! I can't sit away from him!

"Name" the teacher said to Lucas.

"Lucas Friar" he answered

"Mr. Friar, you go in the back with Mr.Gardner" the teacher said, "and you mrs..."

"Riley Matthews" I said

"Ah, you are Matthews daughter?" he asked me

"yep, that's me" I said a little bit nervous

"Okay, you can go in the front with Dave"

I walked to my new seat and when I got there, my phone make the noise of whatsapp, that bird sound; it was a text from Lucas:
