Chapter 4

~Riley~

Maya has been acting weird lately... I know she needs her space, but I didn't think se wasn't gonna talk to me either. My dad had to take me to school all this days since Maya never came to pick me up. I'm pretty sure she's hiding something, she never acts like this unless she has a secret. I will try to figure out that secret.

I got up from bed, and went to the kitchen to get some cereal, then I brushed my teeth and dressed up.

I heard someone knocking the door. When I opened I was a little surprised to see who was there.

"Lucas?, What are you doing here?"

"I thought we could go to school together, Where is Maya by the way?"

"She's not here, I thought you knew"

"What?"

"She's not speaking with me...I think she's been avoiding me"

"Really? But you're best friends, you are almost inseparable"

"I think she is hiding something from me, she never acts like that unless she has a secret", Lucas's face changed to worried one.

"Oh, that's weird...Uhmm, I have to go...I remembered I have something to do before class, see you later", Lucas started running and in 5 seconds I couldn't see him anymore.

I hope Riley hasn't suspected anything when I ran off. I have to find Maya right now and talk to her.

I entered to school. It was almost empty...maybe because classes start in like an hour. I hope Maya is already here.

I searched for 16 minutes until I recognized her blonde wavy beautiful hair. STOP LUCAS! She's your ex girlfriend/ now friend BEST FRIEND!

"Hey! Maya!", she turned around and then started walking away. I decided to follow her... I must look like a creepy creep creep right now.

"Come on Maya!, I need to talk to you!"

"I already told you! We have nothing to talk about!", she said while trying
to hide. She went into the art classroom.

I went in and locked the door.

"Are you trying to murder me or something Ranger Rick?", I laughed at her comment.

"Why are you laughing?", she said, "Murder is not something to laugh about"

"You called me Ranger Rick", she had a confused face... after realizing what she said se changed it to a 'I just realized what I did' one.

"Sorry", she said.

"Don't be, I kinda missed it", I smiled.

"Me too", she said with a little smile.

"You look beautiful when you smile"

"Ah?", she said a little bit nervous.

"Did I say that out loud?", stupid Lucas, stupid!

"Yep, but it's fine, just don't say it again"

"Deal"

"So...what do you want to talk about?"

"Oh, right... Riley thinks you're hiding something from her"

"Oh no, I knew I should've told her the truth...I just don't want her to suffer anymore"

"If you don't want to tell her, I could do it"

"You'd be taking a big risk, she could stop being your friend"

"But if you tell her is worst, she is your best friend"

"Then we won't tell her, I mean... your feelings will disappear someday, right?"

"Yeah..."

"Then it's done Huckleberry, we will just pretend nothing happened...now let's go to class, Riley probably is here already"

"Okay"

~Maya~

After that conversation with Lucas, we went to class, it was the class I had with Riley.

I sat next to her and said,

"Hi Riles"

"Now you're talking to me?"

"Sorry, I just needed a break from everybody"

"I understand that you needed a break...but... from me? That hurt"

"I'm really sorry Riley, it's just that... a lot has happened...it was too much drama for me to handle"

"It was just a break up Maya, that's not drama at all"

"I know, but other things had been going through my head...that's all"

"Like what?"

"Uhm... you know... tests, my mom, all that stuff"

"Uh, okay...I'm just glad that everything is normal again Peaches"

"Yeah, hey, I heard the school is giving us a week free"

"Really?"

"Yes, I think they're going to fix something in the cafeteria...or something like that"

"Great, we could go somewhere"

"Or stay at your house watching Netflix"

"Sure"

The day went normally, finally was the time for lunch.

"I'm staaaarving", Riley said.

"Me too, I forgot to eat breakfast this morning... I need to eat something before I go crazy", I said.

We saw Farkle, Zay and Huckleberry in our usual table.

"Hey guys!", Riley said waving her hand.

"Hey, we saved you some pizza before they were sold out", Farkle said

"Pizzaaaa", I said with a weird crazy hungry face.

"Hungry, uh?", Zay asked with a funny face.

"She hasn't eaten anything since yesterday", Riley answered.

"Now get out of my way before I eat you "

I may have looked like an animal, but I was VERY hungry.

We went to Topanga's after school was over.

"So...what are you gonna do for our 'free week'?" I asked the guys.

"Lucas and I are going to Texas", Zay said.

"And I'm going to Europe with my dad", Farkle said.

"And you girls?", Lucas asked Riley and me.

"We are going to stay in Riley's house and watch Netflix", I answered.

"So you're going to be inside the house the whole week?"

"Nothing better than eat, sleep, and watch netflix"

"If you say so..."

"I just want to have some vacations, school just started and I'm already tired"

"Well, I guess we'll see you in a week", the guys stood up and went to their houses.

"Wanna sleep at my house?", Riley asked.

"Sure".

Sooo, here's chapter four. I'm sorry, I was going to do a longer chapter, but I had an idea for the next one, I'll try to post it in a few days, or tomorrow if I can. If you like it please vote or comment, it would mean the world to me :).
