Assalam-o-Allaikum!
12/16/15- Today marks the one year anniversary of the 2014 Peshawar School Massacre. On this day Tehrik-i-Taliban (TTP) members raided the Army Public School in Peshawar, Pakistan and deliberately slaughtered over 132 children between the ages of eight and eighteen. Many more were injured and the total death count after the attack varies according to local reports. The total ranges from 140-200+ casualties.
Taliban extremists attacked the school with the aim to kill the children of military officers involved in Operation Zarb-e-Azb, a military operation conducted by Pakistani armed forces to curtail extremism in the country.They kill in the name of Islam but the truth is they've not read the Quran.
Exactly one year ago Pakistan faced one of its most devastating terrorist attacks against its young.
Please remember Peshawar. It has already been one year.
